He's only half an inch taller than Golovkin. And the Kazakh is much more muscular than the Brit. Yet bizarrely, no one claims that GGG is a "giant middleweight".

I think Ricky is talking out of his áss! :TU:

Enlightened One talking about height further proves that Fergus is Clueless.

BJS was visibly bigger than Lemieux who is also too big to be a MW (evidenced by the fact he lost belts on the scales).

I referred to height and physique, but you prefer to lie, by pretending I said otherwise, since it creates the illusion you've undermined a blatantly misrepresented version of my claim. You're employing dishonest debating tactics.

So I'll say it again...

Billy Joe isn't a "giant middleweight" and nor is David Lemieux.

Danny Jacobs and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. are/were "giant middleweights".

Fergus: BJS isn't a giant middleweight because I know of 2 middleweights who are bigger.

No, I mentioned GGG. I also named Eubank Jr.

What's with all your persistent lies?

Why keep misrepresenting what I wrote?

Are you that feeble that you can't engage in honest debate, so you have to keep lying in order to save face?

Here's Saunders scaling in as a Cruiserweight.

Now, back under your rock fergus/EO.

It was a one-off bout, taken at short notice, after a year of inactivity and without an official weight. He was also very fleshy and carrying a lot of flab.

A lot of middleweights reydrate to 175lbs+ by th time they enter the ring. Billy Joe didn't have to make an official weight for that bout either.

• Daniel Geale was 182lb for the Miguel Cotto bout
• Golovkin was 174lbs against Maritrosyan and 173lbs versus Rubio
• Matt Korobov was 174lbs against Andy Lee
• Marco Antonio Rubio was 182lbs against GGG
• Uzcategui was 175lbs versus Korobov
• Gabriel Rosado was 175lbs against Peter Quillin
• Chavez Jr. was 180lbs against Zbik
• Kelly Pavlik was 178lbs for the Sergio Martinez bout
• Lemieux was 179lbs versus O'Sullivan

Once again, you've not proven that Billy Joe Saunders is a "giant middleweight".

I just did, it's in the picture. He scaled in - after a training camp, and with visible abdominal muscle - over 178lb. Now stfu you dickface pudendum, nobody likes you.

It’s great to see people conceding defeat by resorting to insults rather than attempting to address their opponents’ counter-arguments! :TU:

:yay: :OhYes: :yay:

Billy Joe Saunders a “giant middleweight”? Gimme a break!

Insulting you isn't conceding anything, it's just the truth, you're a total loser with no friends, and even less boxing knowledge. Foad :TU:

Different types of defences. BJS has a more outfighting style, while Canelo's style is more based on head and body movement and blocking. But overall I gotta vote for Canelo just because for the moment he has proved his skills at a higher level.

Canelo has fought far superior opposition and still looked pretty special defensively at times.

BJS has looked better than Canelo, but against lesser competition.

Canelo gets the nod for me
