Chisora, Dubois, Gorman , Joyce and others would all beat Ruiz. Please don't anyone suggest he's some sort of hidden superstar. He done nothing to upset Joseph Parker.
I feel bad about criticising him because he was a no-hoper and won the fight fair and square. Well done to him, but come on he's in a worse state than Butterbean who was a four round gimmick.
You've just proven my point

Why should he take a 'massive pay cut' to appease some blokes on the internet, it's not how the business works.

I know that but what if the big money wasn't on offer, would his pride be enough?

But the same money isn't going to be there so he'll get paid less. Do you think they'll be selling out Wembley any time soon?

You badly underestimate Ruiz, unbelievable if you've actually viewed the fight. That guy is no bum. He wasn't a bum versus Parker either. There is some skill and serious killer instinct jiggling round in that little dumpy body.

He will be paid very well, may not be Wembley but the 02 will sell out. And if a Wilder or Fury fight happens it will fill Wembley or Cardiff.

Really? They couldn't sell out Wembley in April when he had the belts.

Double yes! Or maybe Cardiff because of the roof if it's in November

Would anybody like to name a boxer in the top ten who you think couldn't beat Ruiz?

NO way the casuals come out in the same numbers to support Joshua after losing to a guy they'll view as a small fat man. That's not how reflected glory works.

They'll walk away in masses.

Jarrell Miller is one off the top of my head.

Meh, opinions vary. I think Joshua fans will turn up expecting a return of the king affair.

A thought just crossed my head how about a week or so ago AJ did some interview somewhere saying he's been seeing a sports psychologist....

Maybe the pressure of being heavyweight champion, and constantly being told what to do by Hearn & others, and living constantly under the microscope got the best of him.

It wouldn't be the first time someone had a breakdown or basically took something of a dive to get out of the game for a while or feel relaxed.

I don't believe it, I think Ruiz won fair and square, this will be the start of the hype for the rematch.

In the corner between rounds last night he said to McCracken ‘why am I feeling like this’?

One thing I will say- I don't think Joshua ever really wanted to fight in the states. He always has seemed at his happiest, in his comfort zone fighting in the UK.

I feel like he only really did it as a favour to Hearn because of what Eddie is trying to do with DAZN.
