I though Joshua had that mentality from the Klitschko fight but maybe spending all his time on private jets and doing commercials has made him soft.
"He got civilized," as Mickey would say.

best at avoiding being hit for sure , he has the movement and defensive skills others dream of .
but he just lacks the killer power punch against the top fighters , he hit Wilder full on numerous times and it didnt faze him .

You lose 100 pounds and see if you have much strength at all  Fury was physically at his weakest and yet still made a fool out of Wilder.

Tyson furys too good for the lot :TU:

Shed all that weight, had a gimme before wilder, and still got up after a huge shot

Ain't no one in today's heavyweight scene beating fury

We all know who's got the most heart now, another tick in Furys box. Getting knocked out by Wilder to get up an see the fight out

Compared to taking a few shots off Ruiz an quitting in the 7th

Not bad seems as the amount of abuse you used to give him

Who do you think beats him?

I don't really see anybody, but Wilder possibly beating him at the moment. Or maybe Usyk. I have him ranked #3 based on what he's done, not who I think beats him. I don't think Andy Ruiz beats him for instance, but he's currently ranked ahead of him because he has a single bigger win than anything Fury's done.

That's fair enough

1 - Fury
2 - Wilder
3 - Ruiz
4 - Joshua
5 - Whyte
6 - Parker
7 - Ortiz
8 - Povetkin
9 - Pulev
10 - Kownacki

Awaiting a return from Klitchsko and a heavyweight debut of Usyk - who both would move well into the top ten should they win.

Finn wrote: 02 Jun 2019, 10:31 I’d say wilder picked up a belt without fighting a real champion where as fury beat an unbeaten in 11 years Klitschko. He then beat wilder, even if the official result was a draw. If you win every major domestic and european title then beat the dominant world champion for 3-5 world titles (depending on which ones you count) then draw with the WBC champion surely that makes you the only fighter who could be considered the heavy weight division number 1.
Id go with this finn

Wouldn’t disagree other than for me Ruiz and Wilder change places, I believe Ruiz sparks Wilder, he’s brave and opens up with you knowing how good his chin is and proven but when he does he does so with spiteful, quick combinations, Wilder is Gun shy when it’s coming back his way aswell imo and terrible technically, Ruiz exploits him imo

I would say technically fury is the best on the plabet followed by ruiz(technically) wilder is the most dangerous and joshua is the pin up boy of the heavyweight division. I truely believe if whyte fought AJ again whyte would beat him,i also believe if parker fought AJ again he would beat him and i deffo think ortiz woukd be too tricky and too awkward fo AJ. His card is now marked and he will need to show something else in the future otherwise this will be a familiar sight.

Wilder beat Fury imo. No doubt the Wilder is The Guy at HW, with Usyk being the dominant force to emerge over the next 3 years.

Ironically Teddy Atlas quoted that exact Hagler line on ESPN following the fight

I think Ruiz knocks Wilder spark out , he has the chin and the fast hands , but most of all what a lot are not giving him credit for is the good footwork , to open and close the distance , .. Fury beats Ruiz if he does'nt get caught , So i suppose you could make a case for Fury being the best , but i think Usyk is going to have something to say about who's really tthe best over the next year or two

Definitely not. Ruiz isn't a monster puncher. He hit AJ with loads of shots to put him down. Ortiz has more punching power.
