You'll notice that Witter acquaints himself quite well for the first 4 rounds and even tags Judah with the odd shot. After the fight Darke says something like, "Junior Witter has really done himself and bradford proud" and I agreed. granted he was in survival mode for the rest of the fight but now that he's improved so much and he's hitting hard, I'd take him over Judah easily. if Judah was still at LW that is. Anyway, rewatch the fight and I look forward to your comments. I'm going to watch it this weekend to actually.

Witter IS prepared to fight anyone because he knows he is in the shadow of Hatton domestically and a big win would make him surpass Hatton who shows no desire to fight a top contender. Hatton can afford to coast along beating 35 year old bums to line Warren's pockets for him, that's just fine. Witter knows he has to win big to make a real name for himself over here and given the chance against a Mayweather I think he'd give it a real go. I think Mayweather vs Witter would be a pretty close fight, with Floyd taking it with a UD. But as with all other potential big fights, it's very unlikely that this will happen.

okay now I have that out of my system Hatton will not fight zoo because he is making lots of money from fighting no bodys with big turn outs of city fans.

On the whitter thing, I think he would struggle against Mayweather although his power could help him, he also dose have a nak of finding punches that others wouldn't (comes with being a swithch hitter) so on a good day when Mayweather is having a bad one I wouldn't right him off. In terms of his career this can only do him good because it will show the rest of the world that Witter isn't the same guy who came in against Zab. I do however think the are better fights out their for witter and ones which he could win at the top level Mayweather as the defencive master is in my p4p top 5 at least.

In reality Witter shouldnt have to cry out for publicity, he's the European champ! But that title has been totally devalued by the fringe world titles.

I think its harsh to criticise Witter's opponents when he is obviously keen on fighting anyone, the fact is he was badly promoted by Warren and Hennessy isnt doing much for him it seems.

I respect your opinion (as bad as it is!) as you have had some good posts on here before. I think it's inevitable that threads about Witter are going to involve Hatton somewhat because of their history. Hatton creates a lot of controversy because of how his career is going. that's it.
