These excuses are getting out of hand. He's just not a very good boxer and had his punching power neutered by faster counter-puncher with a granite chin.

Another interesting thing prior to the fight was the way someone was massaging his neck and his response to it. AJ did appear rather nonchalant / aloof pre-fight.
For some reason, that massage looked strange to me in real time.

That's normal, a lof of fathers were mad when their sons lost… Judah's father, Carlos Zarate fathers, etc
I understand that, but the guy was literally going after Hearn and screaming something shaking his fingers at him. That's at the guy who has made his son tens of millions.

Joshua has stated even again today.
That he was not injured or sick. He was not knocked out in sparring or any other excuse.
Why not accept this he seems to have
Is it even a serious question? Who would accept going into a major fight to say nothing of a PPV fight while sick/injured?
Do you remember what happened when Manny mentioned his shoulder issue?

i have actually noticed that Joshua looks and behaves weird before the fight even started... and also, look at his face mimic after the knockdown, especially the last one - very weird

Is there a film of that? I must have shut it off before that happened. Can you hear what he's saying?

it was weird what he was doing with his mouthpiece all the time, and also he looked very disinterested

I'm really surprised that Joshua managed to get into the ring at all after being knocked out in sparring, suffering from the cold, flu and food poisoning as well as having to deal with the acupuncture treatment that went wrong whilst being torn apart over his sexuality.
He seemed confident enough after the weigh in when asked if he had a message to his British fans who were staying up late to watch him. He laughed and said I promise I won't keep you up too late.

You left off his Heart/lung/stomach transplant.

I missed that one. If he got a heart or a lung transplant he should be trying to get his money back.

He also appeared weirdly happy after the fight. So convivial and he couldn't stop smiling. I'm the most suspicious guy when it comes to crooked boxing, but in this one I see no evidence of a dive. Does anyone think differently?

They could have gotten very good odds if they bet on the underdog instead of their own man though. Just sayin.

I guess, if he really was concussed in sparring, the medical comission wouldn't let him fight.

Tbh, while there are no excuses, it cannot be denied that AJ was acting strange prior to the fight. He also acted weird post fight but that can be down to his brain being fogged in to at least some degree.
I like AJ. He seems to be an authentically good dude.

USA-based Polish boxing journalist Przemysław Garczarczyk said that AJ wasn't as humble, polite and nice as he usually is before the fight during his USA camp, also, he said that Joshua came to the almost empty conference room after the conference in which he didn't participated and behaved a bit aggressive too. He also said that Joshua was probably too self confident while someone who's around him, someone who's part of his team was concerned that Ruiz isn't a good replacement, he was concerned about the result of this fight.

Yes, he usually have his moments in fights where he's lethargic, even more so after gaining the muscle he has.

Anthony Joshua took quite a bit of punishment before he was stopped in his bout with Andy Ruiz, Jr. As a result, I don't think that Joshua necessarily has a glass jaw. But while watching footage of Joshua getting hit repeatedly, I was astounded to see that he was just trying to cover up rather than making an effort to fall into a clinch. Wladimir Klitschko had the same problem before Emmanuel Steward was training him. After that, Wladimir was clinching on a regular basis.

Wlad did enough clinching v PEDvetkin for the entirety of boxing history.
But, you make an excellent point, Chuck.
