Obviously in this fight yes - you can see that I am implying that Wilder will finish the job this time around. I hope I am wrong though.jamamb wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 12:39actually it did matter in terms of outcome in the fury fight, because he scored multiple kds but didnt win because he wasnt doing good enough earlier. most fights where a guy scores 2 kds and the other guy scores none, the guy with the kds winsRoars Like Me wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 05:36 That's a lot of 2s'.
I guess 3 will be 3.3.2030.
As much as Fury goes on about being fitter etc an he will 'win' even more convincingly, this time. Wilder knows he can knock him down and hard too. Plenty has been said about how Fury will do in the return and seemingly not so much for Wilder. My guess is Wilder is even more confident of putting him down for good this time. Wilder can be shite for the majoirty of his fights, and usually is, but it hasn't mattered so far, in terms of outcome. For me, the only fight where he looked like a boxer was the 1st Stiverne fight, so he can if he has too but that wouldn't work against Fury, if he's considering that route. The likelihood is it'll be a re-run of the 1st fight but with Wilder nailing him for the count, making Fury's superior skill set, null and void
When are we getting a duck emoji?
How is this a duck?
Yeah I'd prefer to see an unification fight.tiny_acres wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 07:40How is this a duck?
Fury is the one who waited over a year for the rematch facing scrubs.
Now there's an opportunity to unify instead of the rematch and Wilder is ducking?
Why not a unification first with the winner getting Fury?
It's better for the sport
Their past couple of fights are not relevant to what I posted above. They've already signed to fight each other and he's talking about avoiding it. Fury is facing scrubs, Wilder is taking fights that he knows he will win.tiny_acres wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 07:40How is this a duck?

Can you answer why Fury is the one who turned down the immediate rematch?joshj909 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 08:07Their past couple of fights are not relevant to what I posted above. He would rather unify now after all this "trying to unify" for the past few years, because he thinks he will beat Ruiz? Because there's potential for a PBC vs PBC unification? Why would it happen now after years of failure? He knows he could very likely lose to Fury as he should have done the last time and miss out on his payday.
The unification probably wouldn't happen until the summer which would give him plenty of time to prepare even if he takes the Fury fight. No need to unify then face Fury after.
He's not building a damn thing fighting scrubs
They've ducked each other at separate times. Fury took the money by sighing with ESPN but also signed for the rematch. Wilder apparantly wanted the immediate rematch but is now looking to avoid the signed rematch.tiny_acres wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 08:28Can you answer why Fury is the one who turned down the immediate rematch?joshj909 wrote: ↑03 Sep 2019, 08:07

Was that Wilder ducking him?
