Washington was in the best shape that I have seen him in.

I've never seen Washington out of shape, but he did look a bit more chiseled. I'm still surprised at this outcome. Didn't think Washington had it in him.

I'd like to see Washington face someone like Carlos Takam next. Or maybe Agit Kabayel, with the winner getting a shot for the IBF title belt.

I really don't like any of those three to be challenging for a major title. Washington still lost 3 of his last five.

I think it's been pretty tempered too. Just wanted to see what IB was thinking.

Before the KO loss, Helenius was ranked # 5 by the IBF. Kayayel is currently ranked # 3 by the IBF. Only Kubrat Pulev is ranked higher for that organizations belt.

Easy for me to say from outside the ring but Helenius seems to go over really easily. I don't think those would have been big KO punches versus many other heavies.

He is no TFKoB but I certainly did not expect Washington to clip him like that. He had only been stopped once before.

Exactly what I posted on the Charles Martin thread. Martin actually has more to gain from the matchup but it would be a competitive fight...
