That was a great win for tank and gives makes Tank legitimate while fighting much lesser fighters lately.

As someone said though styles make fights, fight was at a higher weight, 135 as opposed to 130 for Tanks fight with Pedraza.

Pedraza fought Tank coming forward , Pedraza fought Loma retreating seemed to be trying to copy the Linares blue print, and Loma came off of shoulder surgery 8 months earlier, I would say Pedraza won no more than 2 rounds against Loma, but many rounds were close. Pedraza is a very good fighter but in Pedraza own words Loma is better.

Pedraza was standing in front of him. Loma will be here and there and everywhere landing from unexpected positions and angles.

Ms Thatcher, your boxing math is horrible.

You should say "Ms Prime Minister".

I'd love to see Linares fight tank on even terms.

His fight against Fonseca was enough to land him in the Judah/Broner category for me. He missed weight; looked lethargic and unfocused at times; and the ko was suspect.

Tank-Russell Jr is a much more intriguing matchup for me than Tank-Loma

:TU: that doesn't mean loma isn't at a different level to tanks opp to this point, but a different level to tank? Don't see that at all.

Broner never reached zabs level.

I agree. But both would lose focus and never fulfilled their full potential.

Disagree about Judah. Very consistent fighter, I think his potential was overvalued. He was always in shape. Just not as good as everyone, including myself, predicted. Broner us just an ass with no boxing iq. I've pretty much pegged him from jump.

Tank needs better comp, but I'm higher in him than I was on zab before kostya. Time will tell.

Great fight, at this point I'm leaning towards Davis knocking out Lomachenko.

Vasiliy Lomachenko is 31 years of age and currently competes at 135lbs.

Gervonta Davis is 24 years of age and currently competes at 130lbs.

The Haymon/Mayweather fighter should take his time to refine his skills and look to face Lomachenko in 2½ years’ time. There’s really no need to take any risks with Tank.

Bob Arum isn’t going to try to make the fight between his fighter and Davis, because as we’ve already recently seen, the Top Rank boss is more than happy to allow a rival network (DAZN) and a rival promoter (Matchroom) to outbid him to orchestrate Lomachenko’ last two outings (i.e. Crolla & Campbell).
