Does Amir Khan count for this thread? He surely has some nutboys but I see mostly hate for him. I defo like him though, has had an absolutely value packed career and fought top flight opposition

Kieth Thurman seems to be either loved or hated. I don't particularly care for him.

I don't know if too many people other than me are fans of Yordenis Ugas, but I like him.

Ya good shout. Not hated, but just one of those kinda bland guys without much fanfare. He has a nice comeback story.

Yeah. That was the thing that endeared me to him. He had 3 losses early in his career, which he'd already had by the first time I saw him, but when i watched him I could tell this was a legitimately talented guy who probably had a bit of misfortune to blame for his losses as much as anything, but he clearly didn't fight like a guy who couldn't handle himself.

I thought he deserved no worse than a draw against Porter, and he showed me with that one what I always suspected. That he is at least on par with that level of guys in the division. I don't know if he can f*ck with the Spence's and Crawford's of the division, but he's a dangerous night's work for everyone else.

I always loved Weaver. He made me scream at the TV for 15 rounds v BJT, but he finally listened.

Same
At cruiserweight he was absolutely nails and him actually on camera bashing Chisora and his entourage was outrageous and came at the high point of my honeymoon period with boxing. He was my favourite.

He's very hard to like now, though. You know that he'd be on Love Island if he could be but he's too old. That's the sort of bloke he is.

Dunno, about fan, but I like Hughie, don't think I've missed a fight of his, paid YouTube PPV once.
He's got zero charisma and - it seems - no opinion on anything, but from a boxing point of view, I've always had a soft spot for unfashionable, back-foot stylists. :maybe:
I thought he beat Parker 118-112 on defence and ring-generalship.

Does that count ?

I’ve always liked Lee Haskins, I’m not sure he’d be categorised as ‘unloved’ but I think his style puts a lot of people off from what I’ve read on here...
