Good performance from Clay there, boxed nicely both at length and on the inside and was the much more accurate puncher of the two. Morello was game and stuck in there despite going down twice but a lot of his flurries were arm punches blocked comfortably enough by Clay.

Had Boschiero KOed that unbeaten Spaniyard guy?
Stopped on cuts. The Spaniard had at least 3 cuts.
Thanks, mate!

Fair fvcks to Eggington that was a demolition job right there, he looked the boss right from the off, drilling Fiordigiglio with the right hand, sticking the left jab right in his face and backing him up, Fiordigiglio landed some clean shots as well in the 1st but that's par for the course with Eggington, in reality Eggington walked him down and dealt with him swiftly, rocked him bad with the right and had him hanging on for dear life, good timing from the ref, stepped in as Fiordigiglio's head was being pinged

The Italian totally underestimated him. He had a shocked look in the first when Eggington was landing right hands and countering him. It was quite a swift beat down and keeps him relevant. Macklin saying he should drop back down to welter.

It was few fights on telly on a Thursday. Low level. Nice couple of hours.

Eggington could be a reasonable 'come back' fight for Kell Brook. kell failed to impress last time out and has gone back to Dom Ingle to be 'main dealer serviced' again hoping that it will improve the longevity of the engine. maybe Eggington in Jan for Brook followed by Khan in April/May (providing he passes the eggy test)

Nah, look what Beefy Smiff did to him. And what the ghost of The Magic Man almost did. I don’t wanna see Eggington fed to Brook.
And if The Savage won then he’d be in more trouble.

great win for Sam
disappointing not to see any Italian medical doctors or officials not checking out their fighter, after he had been punished and stopped.
