If Fitz can beat Fowler, he should be able to take to the Cheese.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑22 Aug 2019, 16:34 The problem for Cheeseman is that the blueprint on beating him is out there. He lost every round to Garcia and struggled in his last fight.

Gonna be a good scrap this..
I don't think Cheese will get KD, may be stopped standing up. He seems like a bit of a big dodo.

Ted is as tough as they come. Just feel he has had so many wars in the last few fights .it has to had taken something out of him.hope notRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑12 Oct 2019, 10:02 Gonna be a good scrap this..

Ted's "walk them down" mentality has to improve for this fight, but for me, he clearly beat Kieron Conway last time out.
Equally, Fiitgerald isn't up there with Sergio Garcia yet. I think some might be underestimating Garcia, who would probably turnover all, or most, of our light middles.
I'll be a lone voice and pick Cheeseman.

Cheeseman is easy targeting for Scott.

I agree about Garcia . I think last year myself was thinking that are British titles were on par with the European title. I soon learnt that was not the case when our fighters were getting beaten up . This is a 50*50fight with cheeseman he has the experience in his favour and if he could get a plan b he would be very hard to beat .I think Conway wasTHEBUTCH wrote: ↑12 Oct 2019, 10:51 Ted's "walk them down" mentality has to improve for this fight, but for me, he clearly beat Kieron Conway last time out.

a really good boxer. But I see Fitz in that mold but better. But it will be close

Think Fitz was losing to Morris when he got a last round stoppage actually. It's an ongoing thing that he does something big late

Fact is he did something. Deserved victory wasn’t it.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑13 Oct 2019, 16:29 Think Fitz was losing to Morris when he got a last round stoppage actually. It's an ongoing thing that he does something big late

I think the same; they had to humble Fowler, but he showed a great jab and dictated the pace, before almost squandering it all in the last round.
Re: Ted Cheeseman vs. Scott Fitzgerald - 19 October 2019
If Fitzgerald is at the level he was against Fowler and Cheeseman fights in his normal "throw kitchen sink, come forward incessantly" then there's only one winner for me.

Love this fight as well, should gel for a cracker, Cheeseman is never in dull fights and is always aggressive and on the front foot, coming off the first 2 blemishes in his career though, a schooling from Garcia for the European then scraped a draw with Conway last time out to retain his British, I thought he nicked that one by a round but a draw seemed fair enough
Fitzgerald obviously coming off a career best win and performance against Fowler, I still see the last round knockdown on twitter on a regular basis, Fowler is despised on there, its good to see Fitzgerald finally step up and put in a great effort, he's been a bit meh the previous times ive seen him, sometimes fights within himself and was it Adam Jones who had him down and hurt?
He seems to be brimming with confidence now and taking things seriously so heres hoping for an all action fight, I imagine Cheeseman will be a fair bit bigger and maybe even stronger, Fitzgerald has the pedigree though but IMO he looks better when he's on the attack, I can see him trying to box Cheeseman in the early going before it develops into a tear up, struggling to pick a winner TBH but i'll side with Fitzgerald, he has a bit more class, he'll have to show some resolve as Cheeseman is relentless and does not stop
