Without even watching we can provide subtitles for this......
"££££ £££££ ££ £££££££ ££££ ££ ££££££ ££ £££ £££££ £££ ££££££ ££££ ££££££ £ £££ ££££ ££££££££ £££ ££££ £££ £££££"
Seriously though, why is this event even being discussed on a serious boxing forum?

He's enamored by numbers and popularity of these guys.....with that he has masked his giddiness of potential money that can be made with caring so much for the sport that this event will in fact create new boxing fans.
Maybe some folk who have never really watched boxing before will become fans off the back of this. A very small percentage I would imagine. But more fans means more potential earnings for Eddie and his fighters.
Getting them pro licenses and all that is a token gesture. I doubt they are going to become professionals fighting actual pro's after this event. So I don't see much point in that part of it. It will still attract the same viewership if they fight in a pro setting or not.
He wants world championship bouts on the undercard....how many proper world champions will be raising their hand shouting "me me me" to play second fiddle to some YouTube stars infront of 20k kids?
tl;dr - try as he might to be really interested, this is nothing more than Eddie seeing money making opportunities.

I am shocked too. I thought that only 10-12 years old children from UK/USA who spend too much time on the PC/Smartphone care about this fight.Fightnight Scores wrote: ↑14 Sep 2019, 20:08 Seriously though, why is this event even being discussed on a serious boxing forum?![]()

In terms of exposure, BJS bloody needs it. New fans. etc.

You gotta be kidding?Ron C wrote: ↑04 Sep 2019, 20:24 First fight was fun. I’m excited for this. I think they deserve a chance. They’ve both been training pretty hard for a couple years now. There’s some talent there. Of course they can’t compete with seasoned pros but take it for what it’s worth and we got an interesting spectacle on our hands here. I can’t wait!

It is what it is. I thought Hearn was being very candid in his approach. These guys aren't top fighters. But they bring eyes from a different demographic. It would be absurd to let this opportunity go by honestly.Fightnight Scores wrote: ↑16 Sep 2019, 07:35Okay, I did. My findings are:

I met Logan Paul’s trainer last year. He’s a good trainer and getting paid 10k a month for this crap. It’s crazy what these jokers are getting paid which Im sure is a lot.

I had never heard of either of these guys before but a link came up on YouTube to their first fight so I watched 2 rounds I was pretty impressed with Logan he looked like he'd boxed before much better than any white collar stuff I've seen but the other guy looked raw and wild I guess Logan must off gassed out as it was a draw .

Isn't Shannon Briggs training Logan Paul?

This fight gives the sport of boxing massive exposure to a completely new audience and the fighters appearing on the undercard will inevitably benefit from competing on such a circus event.
Please don’t assume my words as being derogatory or sarcastic, because I genuinely believe that the KSI-Paul rematch will not only be entertaining, but it’ll be really beneficial for the sport of boxing itself.
For the record, I was more impressed with Logan Paul’s pugilistic skills than I was with what the slugger KSI had to offer.
So I expect the American to beat the Brit (if he doesn’t run out of gas).

I wonder how much lasting impact exposure really has, like Badou Jack, Ugas, etc was on McGregor-Floyd but where is he at now for profile.

In fairness Eddie has little shame and is often quite candid and quite honest in his interviews and thoughts on things.Impractical Poster wrote: ↑17 Sep 2019, 18:26It is what it is. Until little 10 year old Jessica and her younger brother Jacob can't, try as they might, find Billy Joe Saunders' YouTube channel of him dossing about, endorsing/unboxing products or playing computer games....Enlightened-One wrote: ↑18 Sep 2019, 17:34 This fight gives the sport of boxing massive exposure to a completely new audience and the fighters appearing on the undercard will inevitably benefit from competing on such a circus event.
