Robbery is a fight blatantly scored wrong. This fight was not that. It was a close fight and one or two rounds made the difference.
I had Sergey winning by 2 rounds. But those rounds were close rounds.
GGG getting booed in the post fight interview was disgusting

I did score the 6th round a draw. Closes of the rounds.
Also I had it about 5-4-1, to Dev moving in on championship waters. Then GGG won the two last ones on my card. Many close rounds. 115-113 in the end... heh.
Damn that was a good fight. Dev had done his homework on GGG to counter him at all turns. Gasing out in the 11th, just showed that he had spent most of his stamina to keep up. GGG got hit with good telling blows. But many ended up on the gloves thou for both guys.
Calling it a robbery is just spinning to sell the coming rematch. And yes, Dev showed that he could beat GGG, but then again staying in pocket with him all night had to been hell.
I have no probs with the other way around. Im just thrilled that this fight was so awesome! Again kudos to both guys.

GGG was quite visibly beat by Derevyanchenko, whom as say his nickname, gave a very technical performance with many behaviors like Lomachenko style (whom I bet gave some classes to Derevyanchenko as they are friends). He was way better than 3G in many ways, such as: pressure, footwork, defense, dodge, combinations, punching accuracy and volume.
* The KO seemed to even being a KO as Derevyanchenko slipped/was off balance.
GGG on the other hand, brought a maximum of a 40% of the ggg we all know. He was slow, with poor combinations, predictable patterns, terrible defense, dodge and footwork. Just showed a great chin, overall body resistance and heart to keep fighting.
It was an interesting bout, but it showed us that GGG is different, rusty, he wasn't as before after the loss to "Anadrol/Dianabol junkie woodpecker" and possibly need to retire, I like him but his era IMO is over.
* Compubox showed that Derevyanchenko clearly did 34,5% more power punches then GGG's (183 x 136), and its one of the 4 main requirements for judging (Hard and Clean Punches*, on the other 3, Derev was better too), and thus GGG wins? C'mon, it's a damn lie...
My personal scorecard.
Round 1 GGG
Round 2 GGG
Round 3 DV
Round 4 DV
Round 5 DV
Round 6 DV
Round 7 GGG
Round 8 GGG
Round 9 DV
Round 10 DV
Round 11 DV
Round 12 GGG
Final = 114-113 (7 rds vs 5rds)
Fans could say sh1t defending GGG because they don't think and analyse the sides impartially, but the real thing is that GGG lost, against facts there are no arguments.

To score a fight 114-113 and say someone got robbed is just silly.

Nice scorecard analysis proving that almost all rounds were close and could be given to any of the two fighters. Again, replace "BS" with "boxing_scene" without underscore:

Close fights go to the star usually. Stars get the calls in the NBA and NFL... it's the way life is
The irony is ggg has benefited twice and been on the short end twice

do you think GGG won any of those fights? Derev 114-113, Canelo I 114-114.......how did you score Canelo 2 and jacobs?

Yes. He deserved that 1st canelo fight. He won at least 7 rounds
Other 3 were very close.
Did you score all 4 for him?

nah I gave him Derev and Canelo 1, then losing to DJ and Canelo 2. Maybe I got names mixed up, thought you said you had Canelo 1 a draw and gave Canelo all the late rounds.
How did yyou score DJ?

I didnt think a draw was outside the realm of possibility in the first fight. Canelo officially swept the last 3 rounds on my card and the official judges. It seemed ggg won at least 7 though. And he won his rounds by a larger margin which doesnt end up counting.
2nd canelo fight I had canelo. I scored Jacob's a draw ( had first round even because nothing happened) last night derevyanchenko took it but could have reasonably went close to ggg

Jacobs and Canelo 1 weren't even close. Clear wins by Golovkin. Canelo 2 and Derevo were close, and in both cases a win was given to an A side.

At least in the poll we saw reasonable people, even if some didn't reply.

The poll results can't be trusted, as the poll question is the opposite to the thread title.

yeah, I picked the wrong response. I assumed the poll to be the same as the title. My opinion posted earlier stands. You can't score a fight 114-113 and the judges 114-113 the other way, and say it was a robbery.

Has it 114-113 and gives DV the 11th, still calls it robbery
LOL
I gotta agree with this. I have no issues with anyone having Derevyanchenko winning, it just wasn't a real robbery.

very telling. all 4 fights were very close, and debatable. i can't really say that any of them were robberies, though perhaps that ggg was a little unlucky to get a draw only v canelo, especially given the one ridiculous judges card for that bout.
