The funeral for Patrick Day, the junior middleweight who died at age 27 four days after suffering a brain injury in a 10th-round knockout loss in an Oct. 12 fight in Chicago, is scheduled for Saturday. Visitation is Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET at Word Of Life Ministries in his hometown of Freeport, New York. The funeral service is at 8:30 a.m. ET Saturday at the same location followed by internment at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, New York.
