Whyte got dropped and then Rivas hardly did anything with him after that. Chisora was clearly more competitive with Whyte and was ahead in the 11th.

Still thinking, I think he rates aboves Rivas but not sure about Kownacki. It's awkward though cuz these ratings have Rivas higher than Kownacki.

Chisora always reminded me a little of Mike Weaver.. always shows up tough and fights with real heart and sometimes comes away with a good win here and there
Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 update - Chisora vs Price
No change
Good win for Chisora, but he was supposed to KO Price in 4 rounds. He did exactly what I already knew he was capable of, and it hasn't changed my opinion of him. Chisora shouldn't be moving much ever anyway, because he's so well-tested that there's no good reason why our previous ranking of him could have been that far off.

Good points, but I think he's better than Kow and has better wins.Lackeos wrote: ↑26 Oct 2019, 21:54 No change

No change, cause Price isn't among the top fighters. He's like a hard-hitting journeyman, despite the fact he fights more at home.

I can't convince myself that he's any better than that at this point in time..

Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 update - Chisora vs Price
Chisora up #1, Kownacki down #1
Chisora is on a late career run. Takem is a good win, especially by KO- better than anything by Kownacki, plus Del's performance against Whyte (both times) even though he lost, is still better than anything Kownacki has done thus far. If Chisora fought Whyte again, I still see it as a 50/50, I don't see Kownacki Whyte as a 50/50.

Quick question, is this decided by the median or the mode?dagilechia wrote: ↑26 Oct 2019, 18:18

Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 update - Chisora vs Price
Why is Oscar Rivas rated above Dereck Chisora?
Not only has Del Boy has mixed with better opposition than the Colombian, but both of his performances against Dillian Whyte were far more competitive than Rivas’ effort against 'The Body Snatcher'.
Is the lack of defeats one of the main criteria for determining the top 15 world-rated heavyweights? If so, no wonder fighters are risk averse.

That's how the people voted. Most of people rate Rivas' win over Jennings as better than any of Chisora's wins (I personally rate Chisora's win over Takam slighty higher), and most of people think that Rivas did better vs Whyte (who was caught cheating, and it makes Rivas's performance look even better) than Chisora did in his second fight against The Body Snatcher. Also, future potential and ''who beats who'' matters as well, it's one of the factors, i guess that most of people on here believe that Rivas would defeat Chisora.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 Oct 2019, 06:28 Why is Oscar Rivas rated above Dereck Chisora?

Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 update - Chisora vs Price
In that case, as I've already been outed as a hardcore Chisora fan I would like to change my vote to him becoming boxrec franchise champ
For the purpose of calculations, just count it as one rank above the rankings

Yeah, it isn't impressive, but it was 1 year only though, not 2, such a list in 2 years would have been a complete catastrophe.ewenhay wrote: ↑30 Oct 2019, 09:18Dismal really.
