I think they mean, when they get hurt, injured.. It's all choreographed isn't it? Just like one wrong move in dancing, can leave you with a twisted ankle, one wrong move from yourself or your opponent and someone is seriously getting injured.

The multiple big run ups around the ring were funny though

It's all a bit of fun for Fury, good exposure to a new audience and extra money. So scripted, still amazed people follow wrestling, it's just one big theatre show. Of course there is the danger of injury but Fury got though without a scrape.

It's scripted and fake (most of the time, lol remember Sid Vicious's leg, that wasn't fake)

how many plays fights though have you had . when you have taken a good dig,thing is if your over 230 pounds and throwing your self about, your gonna get injured, good luck to tyson if it gives him piece of mind,

It's because fake would suggest there's no real physicality and plays down the injury risk. What wrestlers do in the ring takes a lot of skill and years of training. The results are pre-determined/scripted, but they are still putting their bodies on the line in the name of making a great show.

Yes getting chucked around carries a risk, a few have died from injuries I think. I imagine most are on some sort of 'supplement' to which isn't good for the heart.

Most wrestlers weigh more than 230 pounds though..

They are more well built than Fury though.

I haven’t watched wrestling for years but still like to follow the backstage news occasionally. Apparently lots of wrestlers were very unhappy at their treatment in Saudi and felt they were nearly prisoners, said they’d rather leave the company than go back next year.

I hear what you're saying, but the punches are fake, the kicks are fake and the holds are fake. Every effort is made to minimize any damage caused. They're like stunt men performing live stunts. These guys are brave performers and they receive serious injuries,, but it's definitely fake,

Scripted and fake for the most part, no doubt about that.

But Google Owen Hart (died performing a pre match stunt) or Droz (the reason why the piled river was outlawed).

Also, look at Eddie Gurrero, British Bulldog and Chris Benoit and his family (all victims of the arduous wrestling lifestyle).

It is a fair bit more than just a bit of play fighting for these guys.
