DAZN wasn't confident in the viewing figures here.. If they were convinced Canelo-Kovalev was going to do better numbers than Masvidal-Diaz, they would have just put it on.. You gotta think about the fans in the arena too..

However, I'm sure the promoter of the event has a say too, but then I guess they figure the audience won't up and leave.

GBP fucked up not having a swing bout, but the audience got to watch the UFC. I know a lot of boxing fans don't like mma but I would have been thrilled.
