Jamel Herring said he spoke to Spence (see twitter several days ago) and that Spence is doing fine, recovering and says he'll be back in the Spring. That is all I've heard.

Sounds just awful. Obviously they are covering this up so people don't realise just how badly injured Errol is.

Death defying accident and a criminal charge? How dare he spend some time with his family out of the public eye! Even more so, how dare the people close to him respect his wishes and privacy! This is ugly.

You may be right, but a combination of his youthful exuberance and arrogance might possibly allow him to make a full mental recovery from his traumatic experience.

I suppose it all depends on the severity of his injuries.

It will be interesting, however, to see how the accident will affect his career. After all he is no robot and I imagine the blows will hurt more, he will get injured more easily probably.
