I think the time out has effectively wrecked his chances, he needed to be active in 2004, but spent the mahjority in wrangles with Sports Network.

I think coming back to clear out the domestic scene was a massive error on his part, he should have continued campaigning in America

and he didn't even come close to clearing out the domestic scene.

Audley is clearly the more skilled of the two, but he has displayed little of the drive, determination, or heart that Skelton has in abundance. I meant that coming back with the INTENTION of making his mark on the domestic scene was a mistake. I also think he seriously underestimated how hard a time he was going to have trying to deal with Sports Network on his own terms. He was taught a lesson there.

I think Harrison would definitely beat Sprott, I'd favour him to win against Skelton also who is too open and lets not forget we have seen Skelton hurt and clubbed about already so Harrison could discourage him with his precise shots.

Williams against Harrison is probably the closest matchup, to be honest I wouldnt favour Danny at this point particularly after the hammering he took the other week.

Harrison need to get rehabed and get active its not too late for him if he can build up a head of steam.

He should forget about negotiating with Sports Network, no shame in him failing on that front nobody seems able to properly negotiate with them even the best promoters in the world have failed to strike deals with SN....

Couple of points 007. In terms of skill Harrison is a league above Skelton, but when he can only muster half a dozen or so big punches per round how will he discourage the British Champ? It's not like he has any real power to speak of anyway. It's highly probable that Skelton, horrible crude style or not, would just be too strong over the distance.

Williams took a battering against Klitschko but Audley's shots would be like tickles in comparison. Totally different fight, Williams wins that BIG for me.

Harrison has a gold medal and some nice moves but that's your lot. His engine and physical presence in the ring are sadly lacking and it aint going to get any better now. As far as I'm concerned the dream has been over for the best part of 2 years.

Good points. I just feel that Audley has more in the tank than he has shown - when he has to show it he'll have it I feel.

What I meant on the Williams front is he will not be the same fighter after that shallacking, physically and mentally. The Williams of a month ago would have beaten him not too sure now remains to be seen how much he has left.

I doubt we'll ever see the fights anyway as FW is on a one man crusade to shut Harrison out of any decent fights domestically.

I don't think the effects of that battering will be as detrimental as to make a fight with Harrison a big risk. Fighters have come back from worse kicking than that before.

True, but how many fighters have had the same demons Danny has? Could well be the end of him I think.

I'd like to see Audley have a fight against at least a decent US journey. At least. It'd benefit him more then messing around with allegedly for the chance of fighting Skelton.
