Short notice and first time back. I'll give Whyte a pass on this fight. He SHOULD give Wach a proper shellacking.
First time back ? He fought in July, that’s a standard heavyweight gap between fights !
Short notice ? Who knows how long it’s been in the pipeline , rumours were circulating for a good few weeks that Dillian would return on this show
As I posted to an earlier poster, he's had plenty of top matchups in the last several years. He needs to get back in the ring and on short notice ,Wach is reasonable. First time back since drug scandal.

Wach has shown a cast iron chin but Whyte should be able to stop him on mercy stoppage I figure. I don't think he was ever a tough fight for the top guys but his freak chin allowed him to go rounds with pretty much anyone, I don't think he's ever been dropped but he was taking flush shots from Wlad and roided up Pov all night

Was thinking the same.. ref or corner stoppage. He got stopped in the Big Baby fight due to hand injury.

You are right he has fought some good guys but I just don’t see the point of this fight ( other than ££, which I suppose is fair enough from Dillians point of view)

Some time around the middle of 2020, Whyte is gonna get a 4 yr ban from UKAD, and a tsunami of controversy is going to hit Hearn and Sky sports for allowing this fight to happen, when they knew he was still under investigation from UKAD for a potential doping violation.
It's not going to look good at all.

His much-vaunted chin's gone, IMO.
Back in the day it was something else, I grant you but gainst Bakole he was a shot or two away from going down. Nothing more than a punching-bag these days (when, of course, he used to be a tough punching bag).

Whyte will totally outbox old and especially slow nowadays Wach, maybe even with stopping him. Btw, a solid card so far.

It seems most of this forum has been as brainwashed as bad as the casuals when it's the heavyweights. Next it will be Whyte vs Dave Allen an people saying its a good match up
Re: Dillian Whyte vs. Mariusz Wach - 7 December 2019
Polish mate of mine tagged me in a facebook stream of Wach last fight... it was in a school gym hall. He shouldn't be competing at this level.

Yup. Silly commentary really. I'm no fan of Whyte's but he's faced top competition.

Why are these guys even boxing fans, some might wonder.
I don't mind them being fans. I mind them senselessly posting here.
