Oh yeah I know. Thurman doesn't seem like he's too keen on the idea of fighting at all to be honest. He kinda seems like his heart ain't really in the game anymore.

Shawn Porter? Or Danny Garcia after he gets beaten by Spence?

I mean, he's in the PBC stable. So whether they want to mention his name or not, Al Haymon manages all these guys. So if he ever wants Ennis to step up...and why the hell wouldn't he.

It's gonna be on him. He's got the guys for him to step up against. He holds all the cards.
It's up to Al, not Ennis himself.

Nah, not gonna be a Porter or Garcia, I am expecting more like a Dulorme or Ramos at least before touching that level, I am fine with that. He's only 23 and the 26 fights is misleading when it comes to experience, because he racked up tons of early fights vs scrubs in his first 2 years or so.

A realistic next few fights for him could be something like Ray Robinson, Dulorme/Ramos, maybe Jamal James or Ugas or something. Don't get me wrong, I think he could jump up and be more than competitive straight away, but just don't see him being put in straight with the elite

Then dudes like Porter and Garcia will older, and more there for the young new stud to get the torch from

I meant Al when I said "It's gonna be on him", but if he manages the guy and doesn't want to make him a star, and make more money off of him. Then he's a f*cking idiot.

If Danny Garcia loses to Errol Spence, and then maybe you got a decent money match with Garcia vs Porter or Thurman in rematches, but other than that I think it'd be about to time to put Danny in there against Ennis.

My point is, Ennis has star potential, and Haymon has the guys that could help him realize that potential already under his banner. So there's nothing stopping Ennis really, and no reason to hold him back.

Time to step up. At least Thomas Dulorme or Jamal James.

The only downside to fighting James right now is that fight could be a really, really good top-level welterweight fight in a few years. There’s no need to make it happen right now. But I’d love to see it.

Dulorme seems to be a favorite. I wouldn’t mind that fight either. I think he’s ready for better competition than that though. His performance last night was dominant.
