Josh got a good deal off cyclone when he turned over at the time, heard a rumour he was given a 15k signing bonus but on grander scale cyclone have been taken 40% of every single fight, with 1 being a headline PPV show. So not great at maths. I amnt sure what Josh is going to do, Freddy Roach isnt answer he needs a defensive minded trainer, I'd like to see Adam Booth as Josh has that fast feet and jerky style in him, although from what I have seen of Ben Davison he seems really defensive minded so could be worse. Only thing that is a bit frustrating is whoever's is training him Josh old trainer Terry needs to be given the respect he deserves. Hes training Josh 2/3 of the year essentially for no gain or credit. Josh makes it a stipulation terry is in the corner also and heard he tends to listen to Terry more than his corner men so we may find he stays at home? I think Josh is what he is, bit like Tyson fury it doesnt really matter who is in corner as long as he is fit and training.

Thats not too say , i don't feel a bit for Shane cos you do put your heart and soul into it , UNTIL you get older and relize whats what and its not gonna change . But he did'nt spend 10 years with Josh not getting paid , thats the guy who should be aggreived not Shane .

Now if Shane had brought him up from a 10 year old to a world champ it would be a different story ,
The thing is, the guy that did train him from a lad is still his very good pal and they often still train. Taylor’s done nothing wrong here he’s just taken a better paid job in the same industry. Smart move.

Exactly, and listening to Taylors reasoning in his BoxingSocial interview, he was not happy with how Cyclone were treating him. The reasons he gives here are not petty, they are honest truths and how he was feeling in his situation. Sounds lime the McGuigans need a lesson in customer relationship management. They are saying they gave him the family treatment, far from it, by the sounds of it had they done so he would still be with them.

I watch that interview , and reiterate , what i said , Shane has NO RIGHT to be agreived ... Bringing him from Scotland and virtually dumping him in a flat shows , what it was to them BUISNESS first and foremost , Taylor i get the impresion is a loyal lad , but he's not stupid , he knows what he's recieving , , and wants to be part of the group , not just there best worker . .

The lad done the right thing ,,, The mcguigans obviously treated him like a buisness object , , so why should they moan when he decides to move on for better buisness ,,, Too be honest the impresion i get from Taylor is he would probably of put up with the money side of it ,,, IF he had been made to feel welcome and part of the team , instead of the head worker

Josh is one of nicest boxers I have ever met. There is no act hes just one of the lads and is great banter. If shane had accepted josh was making a career move I believe josh would have seen it out for training, hes such a loyal guy, Terry mccormack is never left out by josh and lochend gym and the kids in there are always getting to see josh train which is great for their club. I also believe there was another trainer before terry would also deserves some credit? Shane makes out he is building these fighters but its nonsense. It's the exact same as.frampton I'm pretty sure he was a well established amateur before turning over. Give cyclone their credit the job they have done with Josh is unreal, the matchmaking has been nothing short of genius but there are levels and they cant take JT to the level he needs to be at. I believe he will become undisputed and also take scalps at 147.

I agree. It very much seems like they were all business and nothing else. If they are smart they should learn something from this.

Josh clearly has his standards, and expectations, and knows his worth. Good for him. Cyclone clearly could have done much more to keep him happy. They failed big time here.

I hope Cyclone are not going to try and fcuk up Josh's career with drawn out court cases etc, but i guess that will be their goal, they have history of this.

It does though never cease to amaze me the amount of fighters who , do sign up to organizations with a history of falling out and suing there boxers , not paying ect ect ect .

Now i can understand the guy who failed to win the nationals , at ameteur level , so so , middle of the road kid , with a style more suited to the pro's ,, Well a kid like that fair enough , knock down the doors and jump in with both feet , But the higher echelon , who are sought after by everyone ,,,,WHY oh WHY , sign your life away with someone who has a history of , not paying , not delivering , dodgy contracts , conflict of interest and all the other things you hear or read about , et ect ect , regarless of who that promoter is ,,, personaly i thought the Frampton buisness would of scared away most from Cyclone
