Yes, perhaps some day I'll find my way to your consistent perspective. You rate guys on resume when it suits you and h2h when that works better. Our contention here is you saying haye was faster than Jones. You can pick at Ruiz, whose resume is right there with your boy vitali, and talk cw and hw resumes to deflect from the fact that statement is laughable all you want. You know it too, that's why you keep going away from it. All good.DrDuke wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 16:40I never said that, you're delusional.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 16:26

Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
I wasn't talking about speed depending on the resume, I was talking about those things apart from each other. My point is that Haye was faster at the weights, where they both competed. Haye had some difficult and defining bouts there, while Jones went for a walk against Ruiz and he wasn't pushed to the limit there. We wasn't shown all the potential of Jones at HW, but anyway he wasn't that stellar, like he had been in the lighter weights, which is quite logical, because it's a bigger weight class. In Ruiz bout Jones wasn't that swift and untouchable, like in the lower weights, he fought in a more reserved and cautius way. Haye demonstrated some really impressive stuff, for example, in Chisora bout.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑29 Feb 2020, 16:47Yes, perhaps some day I'll find my way to your consistent perspective. Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
You said haye was faster than Roy at heavyweight. You were woefully wrong. Resume just came into it for something else for you to deflect from how wrong you were and the fact that you'd rather die than admit it. Continue embarrassing yourself if you'd like, I can't waste any more time on you.
Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
I was bringing different aspects that could prove the fighters' credibility in this particular weight, while you was trying to connect my different points in a single context. Well, now it seems, you're out of arguments and ready for the washout, so ok, get lost.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑01 Mar 2020, 08:42 You said haye was faster than Roy at heavyweight. Definitely one of the more bizarre carrying on in a while.
Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
Valuating arguments of the others all the way isn't giving your own ones.

Exactly.
Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
Did Haye and Jones have any common opponents?
Haye's career from 2002 to 2018
Jones career from 1989 to 2018 (Unless you count the Tyson match)

Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
Haye never wins any mythical fight ever if I'm the guy you're asking.
Re: David Haye versus Roy Jones jr.
Yeah, The Hayemaker has the power and the speed... But Roy Jones Jr is... well... THE Roy Jones Jr, probably the most complete fighter that we have seen in 30 years...
I'm going Roy on points... But I wpuld like to see a trilogy of this.
