I thought pulev was pretty much nailed on ?

Let’s also remember that Wilder lost practically every second of every round in the Ortiz rematch until he landed the finisher out of nowhere, and Ortiz is pretty much the only major opponent he’s ever faced apart from Fury. Wilder’s been protected like crazy for his whole career due to his lack of skills. Joshua is a different level imo, even though he doesn’t bring as much power.

i could see AJ getting clipped behind the ear and being on Queer Street. Or swallowing on the big occasion if it’s in America tbh. So whilst I agree it’s a tougher fight, I wouldn’t say exhaustion is fury’s only chance for a stoppage.

I would imagine now that wilder will try and fight AJ rather than rematch fury

Not a chance. Has to happen. Where does he go after Pulev? It’s the only fight out there. Money will be off the scale.

Fury v AJ much easier to make than Wilder v AJ would have been. Will happen in next 12 months.

Aj will get done proper by Fury. He cant outbox fury, he cant stop him, so how does he come close to winning unless he grabs all night and gets a dodgy decision? It will be fun to see the smile wiped off that shithouse promoter he has.

I hope Fury gets some enjoyment from this win and stays in a good place.

My worry has never been that any of the other heavyweights beat him in the ring. Fury is clearly a cut above the rest.

The worry has always been that he falls back into a depression.

Well I’m glad to have sparked a debate. The conflicting opinion is already making for a great fight. There are many variables, and I believe it’s 65/35 in Fury’s advantage for me personally.

It’s not the 70s, but we need to appreciate this era while we can, as it’s been a long while since we’ve have split debates at the top of the HW tree.

Yep never seen anyone fight at the level with such low boxing IQ. Also the state of HW boxing these days, there’s always been monster punchers throughout the years that never made top 20 because there were always great boxers ahead of them

Fury would be favourite to win a big points win. I am not sure he hits sharp enough to get Joshua out of there with a punch.
I can`t really see Joshua gassing enough to get steam rollered .

That said - Fury will fight Wilder again next. Wilder knows its his last chance for another big pay day win or lose.

Joshua staying unbeaten may prove to be difficult if he has to face his mandatory s before meeting Fury; he may have to wait until 2021 so that could mean 2 defences at least if he wants to keep hold of the belts.

Hatton witter was such a disappointment that it never happened. I wanted to see that more than fury josh.. we al know fury schools josh.. there was a lot more questions with Hatton witter

I used to go for AJ to wreck TGK, but Fury showed me a lot in both Wilder fights. He is way more comforrtable in the ring than Josh, is effective using many different tactics, and can take missles and get up from them. Funny enough, despite all the flab his stamina is superior to those sculpted beasts as well

I favour Fury if he's focused, he could outbox him or do what he did to Wilder in the rematch. That said Josh could ko him too, but right now it favours TGK. Right now you have to have a lot of respect for Fury

Fury Whyte build up would be pretty fun if WBC try to force that next. Baby Ting and the Fury clan will no doubt get in to it Hopefully it's the unification if AJ comes through against Pulev though. Tired of waiting about for the big fights.

I agree,look how both responded in their respective rematches,Joshua refused to stand still for a second against a 20 stone blob and Fury steamrollered a huge puncher,walking right at him.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Whyte next if Wilder doesn’t take the rematch. Fury will see that fight as eminently winnable and it would shut Whyte up once and for all...
