From rd 1 Kenny ‘break’ Bayless was looking for Qs from Wilder in the clinch.
What was so impressive was Fury’s focus on the task, he didn’t give a care to it during or after the fight!

People have short memories. Though I took no issue with the point deduction. Literally in the last fight Wilder had, Bayless was clearly there to support the champ:

At the end of the 7th, when Ortiz would have got a minute to recover in the corner after bossing the fight up to that point, Bayless gave him a 9 count and proceeded to wave it off when Ortiz got to his feet.

Personally I don't think Ortiz would have beaten a 10 count. But the point is Bayless didn't even finish the count when it looked like Ortiz might beat it.
Dodgy as fornicate

Edit: Bayless did the same for Kovalev v. Mohammedi, but to be fair Mohammedi didn't look like he wanted to continue and still had 20+ seconds to go in the round.

Another example was Lamont Peterson against Victor Manuel Cayo, who got up very quickly looking confused after Bayless waved it off after counting to 9 (there was just under 20 seconds remaining in round 12)

Exactly, there were plenty of times when Wilder punched after the break yet Bayliss took no action.

The first time I rewatched the fight I was surprised to see that the 'second KD' in round 3 where Wilder tried to rugby tackle Fury on the way down was ruled a slip. We were too busy jumping around pissed to realise. Also there's another KD where the ropes hold Wilder up. With the suit and Mark Brelan's sacking and stuff, nobody really seems to have had time to discuss this. Does anybody else agree? That's two KD's not counted for me.
