What is wrong a with a lot of these heavyweights ?
Feel they don't have to train and get in shape for a fight ??
That's another ship that has sailed , he's going to miss out on some big money because he can't be arsed.

Ref didn't do a great job. He missed the first Knockdown, but so did I. But I was drunk watching it on TV, he was the ref, but still an understandable miss. The next count looked quick. He was at 4 immediately. I know he's supposed to pick up the timekeeper's count, but jeez.

Kownacki was in his OK shape. Mauling down an opponent and relying on own durability with chin. That's woefully wrong. Helenius punished Kownacki for that.

Bit of a shocker that, i had Kownacki taking the first 3 rounds but he was getting clipped and looked poor, it's just that Helenius was worse , fun fight though, some wild exchanges, it wasn't until the replay I realised that Kowancki never slipped just before the knockdown, he got tagged from a right hand and he looked a bit unsteady on his legs, Helenius scored a nice KD, a right then a strong left jab put Kownacki on his pants, Kownacki wa still buzzed and not throwing back when Helenius was unloading on him so he can have no real complaints, Helenius is a strange cat, who knows what will happen when he fights

I also at first didn't notice the KD, which was ruled as a slip. It was actually a pretty rash move for Kownacki to go at Helenius in his trademark fashion after that.

Smart guy.
I was only stating a fact. Don’t give a crap bout the fight myself. Adam only has himself to blame.

If you know Me, you’ll know I always post post-fight information.

Hardly anyone did see that coming.
I mean, we all expected Kownacki to get stopped soon, just not by Helenius. Kownacki was being groomed by PBC as another undeserving title challenger for their in-house HW belt. Things are not quite going to plan for them right now- what with Fury taking their belt, and now the last semi credible challenger getting beat.
They will probably sign Miller soon, who will go the same way as Kownacki, the first time he steps up a level. Think of it this way- at least we didn't have to pay to see Kownacki lose.

Embarrassing advertisement for boxing, shows up with fcuking man boobs same as Ruiz did and same as Whyte did, have they no fcuking pride ? They’re supposed to be professional fighters for gods sake, lazy fat wastes of space.

TBF Helenius wasn't a fatty, he looked in the best shape I've seen him in a while. Had a feeling that result was going to happen after Helly rocked Kownacki in the 2nd. If you can hurt Kownacki you've got a great chance because you're going to be able to keep hitting him

The non called KD was clear as dayy to me, the guy got put on his knees. though maybe you guys watched on Youtube? I know some of the versions uploaded there have the bottom of the screen cut off for some reason, making it hard to see the canvas

PBC were going hard on Kownacki and he goes and does that.

PBC had the Heavyweight division in the palm of their hand a few weeks ago and now the UK have it.

I love it.
Ya look at there HW contenders.....Wilder, Ortiz, Ruiz, Kownacki, Breazeale, Washington....all lost their last fight. There younger guys aren't really ready to step in yet either

Lol seems that way, it’s a strange element of boxing that the fighters in its flagship division get paid the most and aren’t even required to to turn up in fighting shape.

I totally enjoyed this fight! And what a fight it was! "The Nordic Nightmare" trying to revive his career, while Kownacki trying to get on rolling thru the heavyweight division, knocking out all comers. Helenius proved that he has deceiving power in both hands, and seems to land with some good accuracy! I'm sure his "old school" chopping wood regiment has something to do with that.

I was a fan of Adam, but was disappointed that he left the right abruptly after getting KTFO. I'd respect him more if took it like a man, and stayed around to congratulate Robert on his upset victory, and give a post fight interview. This should teach Adam a valuable lesson. Those who train, and train hard, will usually set themselves up with the best chance of gaining success.

As for "The Nordic Nightmare", I'm super curious to finds out who he might upset next! Or will next time NOT be considered an upset!?

Hats off to Helenius. The plodding 'gun shy' 'attender' suddenly arrived to win and put himself inline for a title tilt sometime somewhere.

Fair play to Helenius, he needed a good win and got it in some style. One decent win and you're back in contention :box:

Hard to tell if Adam was lacking in fitness. It only went 4 and I don't think he was slowing down. Helenius was though. Helenius cracked some beautiful right hooks to the body from round 1.
Realistically, Kownacki needs defensive work more than cardio.
At least he went out on his shield ( face) Wilder would have been jelous :OhYes:
