Which is the same as the flu which actually HAS a vaccine. Once the death rate gets slashed people will start to revolt on top of the economy absolutely needing to restart. The economy absolutely can not tolerate more than a month of this. They won’t have vaccine for a year. Nobody is waiting a year. People have families to support. Unemployment wages are trash. As of now seclusion is needed because the hospitals just don’t have the supplies they need to keep up. That is changing. A few weeks from now hospitals will have many more ventilators to treat the most serious cases and with further testing they will be more confident on which anti-viral drugs are able to best control this. Long story short - this is still going to kill some people. Just like malaria, measels, tuberculosis, flu, etc. Some herd immunity will also develop over time. It will get better.
They just suspended my unemployment over work searches.

China is the blueprint.

Right now China is getting back to a shaky, but promising, normal.

From initial cases to now, it’s been about three months.

China *seems* to have implemented things rather successfully after the initial outbreak, so it could be the best case scenario for a country which initially had contagion issues.

In places like Italy and Spain and quite possibly the US, it will probably take longer.

China took draconian steps to lock people in their homes for weeks. They put guns on the street. That is NEVER going to fly in the states where democracy rules. Libertarians would never allow it. So this will drag on longer here than there as far as the spread is concerned. The warm weather will definitely help slow the spread as the virus won’t be able to live as long on surfaces or in the air. However when fall/winter return some of the same challenges will be back. However, testing will be widespread by then. Hospitals will be prepared. And anti-virals that work best will have long been tried and tested.

The issue is really about whether or not society steps up and says......
“fornicate IT.... BACK TO BIZ AS USUAL”.... fight every and all orders of self isolation and complete economic destruction. It’s all AGENDA 21 from these motherfuckers. fornicate all of them and their tyranny. David Icke predicted this BULLSHIT decades ago.

Ya! We're not gonna take it, anymooore!!! I just rang outside, went to the most public places I could find, and stood next to everyone I saw! It's all just a fear mongering hoax !

Excuse me for a moment though, I need to take a slight rest from rebellion, as I'm having trouble breathing....

There isn’t any scientific evidence to prove the virus is less contagious or harmful during warm weather conditions.

In fact, another type of coronavirus (MERS) is known to spread in climates that are as hot as 110 degrees.

We may eventually see a slowdown of the COVID19 virus during the summer months though, but this will be purely coincidental and mainly due to herd immunity.

Contrary to popular belief this isnt the first coronavirus, its called covid-19 for a reason. It's also called novel because its a new strain that doesnt have a vax. Most previous corona strains see a reduction in spread rates in the warm months. Its believed this one will behave similarly but it cant be said with certainty. Still spreadable? Yes. But not AS spreadable for its duration in the air is lessened by humidity. Theres a reason the average person gets sick less often in the warm seasons. Hand to face spread is a different story. Thats something no adult should ever be doing with unwashed hands. Fauci also said, like previous coronavirus's and viruses in general, it would be very rare to get covid-19 a second time once you are exposed and recovered. Each time we get sick its almost always a different strain of virus than one we were previously exposed to.

I hope you’re right though, but at this point in time though, there’s no proof to suggest you are.

And I mean, there’s not a single shred of evidence and you won’t find any reputable scientist or scientific organisation that will wholly endorse your claim.

Why did you post that link? It doesn’t even mention coronavirus.

Being truthful and accurate is more important than winning some meaningless forum argument.

Look, I actually want you to be right about your assertion, but at this point in time there is zero scientific evidence to suggest you are.

There’s no point in pretending otherwise.

Doubt we will see any action till after June time. Promoters and tv will probably start re-planning shows when there's signs of light at the end of the tunnel but that obviously takes time and they'll need to allow time for fighters to get a full camp and to sell tickets etc...

A good point made in the UK, is how can you expect boxing and UFC fights to go on behind closed doors if there are no doctors available to be at ringside? It’s expected that most countries health care systems will be taxed in all honesty beyond breaking point. I’m quite surprised to still see posts expecting this to be over in 4-8 weeks. I think you are kidding yourselves.

Good point, UFC has a better chance because their fighters aren't massively overpaid.

Ludicrous. These events require ONE doctor on hand. Do you seriously believe every single doctor on earth will be unavailable for one randomly scheduled night at a time? People are losing their minds over this.

I'm sure the Italians would be glad to learn that all they've really actually needed was ONE doctor at hand. Here they thought they needed a whole bunch of them!

Because a controlled environment where 2 primely conditioned young athletes with no spectators is the same thing as a bunch of 70 yrs old with pre-existing conditions in the oldest country in the world dying? Italy has gotten overrun because the hospitals weren’t and still aren’t prepared to give the care needed to everyone who needs it. That’s why so many have died. Not enough ventilators. They’ve had to deny care to many. They’re getting more vents now. But it’s not happening overnight.

It’s a VIRUS. Not the Black Plague. Rational to assume it will behave similarly seasonally as other VIRUSES.

I do not see any large gathering for any sporting event for several months.
May possibly see a no audience pay per view.
But I would not be shocked if the year is pretty much void of sports.
And I truly hope I am wrong

It’s infuriating that not everyone is practicing social distancing now to make this more tenable in the summer. Suffer now to make it easier later.

Eventually, and it won’t take long, people will start to rebel. People can not sustain their families or businesses on unemployment wages. It’s impossible. It’s just not realistic to think we can ask the world to stop for months and months. It’s not realistic and it’s not possible. Peoples lives are being ruined by this.
