Georgie Benton must be up there.
Emmanuel Steward was a cracking amateur. 94-3 and won National Golden Gloves at bantamweight.

Struggling to think of a top class pro.
I guess a top class pro will usually have quite a long fighting career. Whereas people who are less successful or never turn pro at all start learning their trade as a trainer earlier.

This probably has a lot to do with it ,, plus i've said it before you don't wake up one day and say , Mmmm i'm gonna be a top class boxer , you spend years perfecting your craft ... and the sme goes for a trainer ,,,, wherass , top boxers just tend to say i'm gonna be a trainer , and skip trainers class

There’s Robert Garcia, former IBF super feather champ 1998-1999, who has trained fighters such as Nonito Donaire. Garcia was pretty good as a fighter, if a bit chinny in top class.

I’d imagine Chris Eubank Jr might get shown up a bit in American gyms. Roy Jones has probably forgotten more than he’ll ever know.
