Controversial but I am totally against it. End of the day every single one of us knew he was kidding. How many of us will have a bottle of stella and refer to it as wife beater? How many of us have referred to a long term relationship and said get less for murder? It's off the cuff remarks and Saunders although stupid hasnt committed a serious crime. It's all about tolerance for humour, comedians are paid millions and say alot worse. Hes being punished for his personality. He cant change who he is, hes a joker and more than likely has something underlying like adhd. If he had assaulted someone or a women then yes, commit a crime then punish him but he hasnt. I'd much rather someone be themselves, now media trained within his team and making him donate cash to charities etc to manipulate a system. Just not into fake stuff, bbbofc need to stick to there job, sanction and govern it, let the police deal with crime, allow anti doping agencies to deal with drug cheats. Bbbofc speak about acting with integrity but end of the day they act with anything but, they would sanction my gran to fight AJ if the money was right.

To be a boxer you kinda have to be a bit nuts, these guys are punched in the head for a living and are expected to be top class gentleman. I'm sorry but boxer have an edge and guys like Anthony crolla are a minority. Josh Taylor is a bit wild and not someone you would wanna cross but hes media trained and prior to recent events was looked upon as a saint.

Not at all, educate him dont restrict a way to make a living for his family, the bbbofc are playing god with fighters, it's a minefield because it's almost as if they forget that they work for the boxers not the other way around, the boxers provide the service and the bbbofc provide the insurance almost. This is the problem with one sanctioning body, they believe they can just do what they like. Ot reverts back to the scott Harrison case, there answering to themselves and contradicting themselves. Scott Harrison has the right go rehabilitation the same as anyone in life, yet the bbbofc have made the choice they have made, I have zero doubt scott harrison can protect himself in a ring more than freddy Flintoff and most journeyman or even massive ticket selling prospects but he isnt classed as valuable to them and hes almost been used as an example.

Time and place for everything, you prob need to be a bit of a snowflake to be really offended, but nowadays with celebrity, social media, being in the public eye etc you have a responsibility to be seen as a good influence, and if you can't do that keep a lid on it!

Boxers aren't natural scumbags like you seem to imply, I say this as a former HUGE Billy Joe fan but he's not a 'joker with an edge' he's a reprehensible and disgusting man. Hypocrisy from the BBBoC? Of course, but I'll shed no tears for this scumbag.
