Ruben Olivares was about as exciting as a fighter could be and of course you've got the classics with Castillo, Arguello, the Chacon fights, the Rose destruction etc; but a fight few seem as familiar with, is in my opinion his most entertaining. The re-match with Kazuyoshi Kanazawa. I think it's every bit as good as Gomez-Pintor.
I've been pretty open about my love for Olivares. Agree on Kanzawa II. Good posts!!

Olivares’s style reminds me a lot of Thai boxers and Muay Thai guys, the rhythm and tempo he fights at; he’s a very concise offensive machine

Decent fight I watched. Bob Foster vs Chris Finnegin. (1972)
Tough close fight up until suddenly in the thirteeth round, ,Foster hits Finn with a beautiful straight right counter that put him in position to end the fight brutally in the 14th. Worth a watch.

Marvin Johnson was always fun to watch. The 2nd fight with Saad Muhammad (Franklin) was awesome. The Galindez and Mustapha Muhammad (Gregory) fights as well.

Olivares vs. anyone.
I do plan on going through Olivares' career set in the next week or so.

I must have seen the Herrera Castillo fight a dozen times. Always in awe of the combined ring craft on display that night. Can’t ever be arsed to score it, close rounds and who cares anyway just watch and savour.
