Oh. Even though it's better Maybe even Martin might beat non-PED Miller. Seems like a lame choice, still.
Hey, AJ said it, not me!
They're still lame choices for AJ's Hitlist though aren't they? There's much better fighters out there. Worry about the top 3 I guess.

Who are all the much better fighters? Miller is no surprise, big mouth undefeated dude who AJ was already scheduled to fight, he was in every top 10
Fury
Wilder
Usyk
Ortiz
Miller
Look at who the division actually has, i don't see what's so lame about this . Understandable that he wouldn't be actively gunning for guys he already KO'd or widely beat, doesn't mean he wouldn't fight them of course

So who should his Big Six be? Who else is there better than this list? And don't say Helenius. Kow will be him in a rematch if it happens.

Hmm. if he makes his way through Fury, Wilder and Usyk, I see Ortiz as being too old by then and Miller completely defanged, plus also the original list was six fighters and one of them was Kownacki, who was just KO'd by Helenius. I rather see Whyte, Rivas, Dubois, Joyce, Hgrovich, Yoka... Somebody new who will have established themselves a bit more by the time he works his way through the first three.

TBH I like his list a lot more than the likes of Rivas and Joyce. Guys like Yoka are still prospects and who knows what will happen with them. Maybe Miller will be defanged, but we've seen regularly guys come back from Ped-ing and have success, and even still keep using lol. Ort is an oldie and should be fought sooner than later though , I agree.
I'd guess that he made his list before Kow got beat by Helly

Not sure on Kow, I can see him starting to take a bunch of Ls now. That no defense style often goes downhill hard.

If he makes his way through Fury, Wilder and Usyk, he can fight whomever he wants. He'll be arguably best since Lewis.

Maybe. Maybe even likely. But there's a chance he can still learn something and come back better.
Although I don't think he ever was worth having him in the discussion. It's a shallow talent pool.

AJ fights twice a year, this year it might not even be at all. By the time Fury-Wilder 3 is over, and AJ's mandatories are out the way, at least one or two of those fighters I've mentioned will have made enough noise for it to be them by then.
I suppose I just dislike him listing those guys when he knows they're crap. Why not just pick mention some hungry young blood?

Tbh he did very well to make it as long as he did before taking that L. That was a good run for such a limited guy

He shouldn’t have Ortiz in there because he’s been smashed twice by Wilder, and he’s 58 years old.
He shouldn’t have Kownacki in there because he’s been beat up by Helenius.
He shouldn’t have Miller in there because he’s a proven dirty cheat. He shouldn’t be handed a fookin payday.
Fury, Wilder & Usyk make sense definitely, even more so if Usyk beats Chisora. If Fury beat Wilder again I think the interest in a AJ/Wilder fight would be lower but still intriguing.
Whyte for obvious reasons is someone I thought he’d have mentioned.
Joe Joyce would’ve been a nice surprise despite how he’s got an extremely tough fight against Dubois.
Hunter would’ve been more interesting than Miller.

Fury is a proven cheat too , Whyte's failed tests for 2 fights too, as has Ort and Pov. It's almost par for the course these days.

Um...because it's a banned substance. Many are still taking it but hiding it.
