i'd rather have seen hatton travel to america to prove he's more than a home town hero. plus when you think about it fwank had no right whatsoever to stage it in manchester.

still, at least the fight is happening, and that's the bottom line i suppose.

Call me a cynic but as I said earlier I'll believe it when I see it!... one decent fight fight indeed not make up for the years of tosh that Warren has served up and the end result along with the proliferation of meaningless titles of which he has been so keen to adorn his fighters with hes resulted in boxing having only a slightly higher importance today than WWF wreastling..... so ok! thanks Mr Warren for turning my sport into sh+t!.....

What right? The right to try and get a hometown advantage for your fighter in a world title shot, any promoter in the world would jump at that chance. Clinton Woods is about to have his third stab at home for a world title, Brodie has had two already, it's the best of all possinble outcomes, I don't remember anyone criticising McGuigan when he won his world title at home...

yes it's been a long time coming, and very frustrating, but Tszyu could have let it go to purse bids, nobody was forcing his hand, he knew it was a nice fat payday, and he probably figures to be pretty confident.

Yes, it's great to see fighters going abroad to win a world title, and proving they are road warriors, but it's far from ideal for the fighter.

Doubt that Fw will ever let Wicky fight away from home against anything resembling a live body!...
