a lot of VHS tapes are now 35-40 years old.
I notice that VHS that come from warm/hot states picture quality seem more degraded then
when the VHS tapes are stored in a basement somewhere in the Midwest

I have 3 VCRS and i use 1 frequently and have 2 in reserve that are operational and working great. I have thousands upon thousands of fights from many eras and still enjoy watching them.

I noticed a few years ago, depending where in the country you live,
the VHS tapes degrade over time.
I remember I lost a VHS tape and wanted to replace it,
so I bought the same VHS tape on ebay.
it came from California
and when I watched it, it was almost unwatchable.
My original VHS Tape was kept in a box in the basement in the Midwest
since 1987 and in 2007 it looked same quality when I watched it.

I left my entire VHS collection round my brothers and when I moved out he taped over everything !!!!
I had recorded practically everything on the box from 1985 to about 1990 !
Rocky Kelly's lunchtime swearing during post fight interview 'im the fuckin guvner'
Henry Cooper's golden belt featuring McMillan and Carr
The clash of the titans show where Dennis Waterman and Eamon andrews argued out whether Marciano was greater than Ali.
Barry Michaels huge ear against rocky lockridge
Sweet memories

As someone who lost a lot of old tapes in a house fire almost eleven years ago, I feel your pain. But take comfort in YouTube. It's amazing how much stuff you can find there. Lockridge-Michaels is on, as well as hours of Henry Cooper's Golden Belt Boxing. Also, lots of people saying fornicate.

I didn't say fornicate. I said the other word, but it autocorrected. I don't know how many people are on there talking about fornicating governors, but there must be some.
