I got this 3-0 zewski so far, egi doing too much waiting around and letting zewski be first and also take quick pot shots

Egi, with a nice shiner, wins the 5th, as he finally starts putting some heavy combos together after his jabs. Some nice digging to the body.

Zewski's punches that round were more like 'get off me' and he looked less confident

At the end of round 7 Zewski got with a nice uppercut and gets hurt, Egi follows up and flurries him to the cnavas. Zew up at 9 and makes it out of the round but in serious trouble

Egi drops him straight away to start the 8th and fight called!

Egi is a limited dude but those hands are heavy for sure

Just finished watching the fights. Gonzalez looked really good, hope to see him again soon. I also hope this is the end of Marriaga being trotted out as a title challenger.

Kav looked a little vulnerable to being outworked but his power and craft brought him through. That uppercut was beautiful. I'm not sure where he goes from here though. There can't be much interest in a Crawford rematch. Maybe Kavaliauskas vs. Avanesyan II?

Yea this pretty closely matches my view of the fight. Marriaga won the first round and then Gonzalez swept the rest.

I really liked this card in general. There was no single marquee name carrying the card, but just 2 really well matched fights between solid B-level guys.
