Chelli at a canter. Cullen barely did anything after the third. Poor quality contest, lots of shots missed, but Chelli had the better skills and far more effective. Our refs are piss poor judges.

What amateur gym did Chelli go? He seems like a great talent but I have to question the corner work. He was winging shots really bad whenever he’d get up close, missed his chances

It’s easy to criticise but if I was in his corner and his mouth guard fell out and he just stood there looking down at it I’d have screamed the place down.

Yeah and I think that applies to Cullen's corner in that fight.
A good pep talk with some simple tactics coulda won it for either.

I like Bruiserweight !
But please no more weight divisions - I'd like to streamline them. But LHW could easily be 185-190 and CW 205

This is very true! Cullen too reliant on a long jab, Chelli too reliant on being stronger. It’s not always black and white. Thought Chelli was constantly trying to slipjab under the Cullen jab and it became predictable and he was getting picked off with a slightly lowered jab, but I am not a pro boxer or coach so you always feel daft coming out with these criticisms.

I missed the Babic fight.

Considering Mark Bennett was offered the fight and was fully fit how would he have compared to Winters in this fight.

He's 5lb over cruiserweight and carries a bit of flab. He should be a cruiserweight, but I suppose the money is crap.

Both of these guys could fight at cruiserweight easily if they wanted. They choose not to because of the money available at heavyweight. If they introduced another weight category I don’t think it would change a thing - the fighters will still want the bigger fights at heavyweight.

Just having this chat with my pal. If you were on the top of the hill and could roll down either side why would you choose to go the side with less dough?

Usyk and Haye were both always gonna win world titles, wanted all the glory and were always ripped at cruiser. Then when they moved up they were about 215/220 which Wilder has almost always been. I think most 6’3 225lbs heavies could make cruiser
