The ref didn't even count to one, which was the correct decision as Whyte was fucked and a ten second delay to getting medical treatment would have been clearly neglegent.

Whether it is classed a KO or TKO in the records is irrelevant and I'm not sure why people are getting so upset about it.

We all saw the punch and won't be forgetting it in a hurry.
Whyte got knocked out, even he admits that.
