Got to think they screened him prior to putting him live on the air.
Is it hype ?
All these SHORT clips of him throwing wild punches while training, medium to low level hype I'd say.
The announcement of Jones v Tyson was always going to get headlines wasn't it.
It's been off the boil ever since then.
It seems quite bizarre that he wasn't screened tested before being put live on air.
It's quite clear within seconds that Tyson was not a suitable live interviewee.
Who would screen him?
It's not something the secret service are going to get involved in, it's just an interview for morning TV.
They have said recently he needs to come off his meds to pass a drugs test to fight so maybe he's stopped taking them and this is how he is without meds. I know he's getting on but he looks old there.

They could talk to him off air before putting him on live.
I would have thought that things like this would routinely happen to spare any potential blushes.

That's one of the reasons I thought it maybe hype.
Sure it looks bad but everyone's talking about it now.

I think you might be right, because I can't believe that when doing those live links that some tech person behind the scenes doesn't liaise with the guest to establish that everything is OK to go to air beforehand.
