Re: Alan Babic v Tom Little

This topic demonstrates why Tom Little is an excellent journeyman.
Yeah, Hrgovic looks way more convincing than Babic for now. Babic has just been brawling, Hrgovic showed some skills.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑22 Nov 2020, 06:15 Hrgovic would destroy Babic quickly. Babic is a complete circus act. If Kennedy or Little had the resolve to last into the 5th round Babic would have fallen over. One thing I'll say in his favour is that he fights to his strengths. He'll be outboxed chopped up at range so he just tries to make it a 50:50 slugfest.
It was to be expected from Little. He's always been a comedy act as a boxer and always will be.

move aside and let others have a go !
It's purely about money for them. giving it large is how they get paid. Integrity? Desire? they lost those a long time ago.TheGman wrote: ↑22 Nov 2020, 11:39stevec@france wrote: ↑22 Nov 2020, 10:00 that was embarressing , little just cant throw any more than a handful of punches .
move aside and let others have a go !how tgese fighters can walk around with their head held high giving it large every other month is beyond me,if that was me id hibernate for months till people forgot then never climb through the ropes again. I cant stand pretenders, ppl who throw themselves on the floor even of the wind off a punch, embarrassing
The sad thing is that there is something there with Little. You can see he has some raw talent.liamlion wrote: ↑22 Nov 2020, 18:48 Little performed exactly how I expected him to, sadly.
Coming into the fight there was really nothing to suggest otherwise, even with the celebration and acclaim of weight loss.
Sincerely no disrespect to any fighter, but with Little having previous loses to Dorian Darch and Tom Little, it was well established that his level was and is lowly-domestic.
Can’t believe he beat himself.liamlion wrote: ↑22 Nov 2020, 18:48 Little performed exactly how I expected him to, sadly.

Nobody knows or cares about Mark Bennett. I just looked at his record and hes just taken a lost to Nick Webb of all people. It would be a shocking bit of matchmaking if he fought Babic.MasterG wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 04:52 Mark Bennett could be Babic's next opponent in January. Bennett is now in camp and training for a fight in the new year, so he could very well meet Babic or Wardley for the English.
Bennett will have been out of the ring for over 12 months due to the situation in the sport so that's a issue he could face fighting with a long break.
Either way it will be a tough night for him but Babic isn't tested yet and if Mark gets a decent camp behind him and can use his weight and height advantage and doesn't let Babic unload as Little did it could be an interesting fight if indeed it comes off.

On the other hand, he won Sokolowski, who iced Webb. Anyway, he still looks like another punchbag for Babic.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 05:41Nobody knows or cares about Mark Bennett. its a pay day for a genuine kid. Webb was the 3rd opponent on the same night. Give the kid a chance fully fit and lets see what happens. Not going to deny its a tough fight and we know who will be bookies favorite but some lads deserve a decent pay day, plenty of journeymen who are fighting at a moments notice to do exact the same thing. Bennett will give his all win lose or draw.DrDuke wrote: ↑23 Nov 2020, 08:19On the other hand, he won Sokolowski, who iced Webb. Sincerely no disrespect to any fighter, but with Little having previous loses to Dorian Darch and Tom Dallas, it was well established that his level was and is lowly-domestic.
