Total helmet of a man. He's always talked out of his arse, but this is sad pathetic stuff.

I wont be surprised if he doesn't fight again. Hes ruined.

-comission and wilder's team all were there for hand wrapping and gloving up. none said anything. bizarre if there was really these egregious and obvious foul play.

-comission and wilder's team and the ref were all there by the ring during the fight. none said anything. again, bizarre.

-why hasn't there been a formal investigation into this? surely there would be witnesses to this grave injustice to support one, surely wilder's wealthy team would've filed a protest or lawsuit

-so what actually was done to the gloves in the first place, when, and what's the disadvantage it put wilder at?

-not a word about this came out until wilder lost, why the wait? why even did it take like a year for complaints about the gloves from the first fight (that's what started the 'controversy') to come out? maybe because dudes were salty that wilder lost and that's what triggered them into grasping for excuses! no surprise it's rick and lep going on about it

-what exactly is off in these photos anyway? what couldnt be explained by a dude who for example slaps with an open hand? when you slap someone hard your hand bends back, and if you land punches at certain angles you easily get photos like this
Yeah. Also the alleged "foam was taken out photo" seemingly of Fury*s hands poking put of the glove was because he was beating his fist into wilders face (sorry I can't post photos)
Are you talking about this one?

Theres no way in gods green earth furys team could have Inserted something into the glove once they'd been taped up.

Anybody who buys this rubbish should PM me, as I have been brewing the elixir of life in my kitchen.

I don't think his gloves are loaded but it very much looks like his fist is in the palm/laced part of the glove and not the padded knuckle part.

Isn't it amazing that a bunch of wilder net bois could catch that, only after he loses of course and a year after the first fight (that's the fight glove gate was drawn from)

but Wilder's whole team, Wilder himself, the ref, and the commission couldn't f@cking see it at all either time, despite being right there, f@cking close up, and inspecting Fury getting his wraps done, getting his gloves on, in the corner and ring the whole fight and after when he degloved. not a word said during the fight about it by any commentators or fans either, despite the glove apparently being obviously shady

and still no complaint filed

Wilder didn’t say shit about a rematch for months despite Fury constantly calling him out, then suddenly once the rematch clause expires he’s talking all this nonsense. He wants no part of Fury, uncle Al and the WBC have created another weight division so he never has to go through that again.

This is a good video on the subject shows the first fight, which is where the floppy glove thing comes from

The pictures above from the second fight (where the tape is white, not red) don't show any thing out of the ordinary

Exactly, how the f@ck is he gonna clench like that if his hand is out of the f@cking glove, anyone with the tiniest bit of sense can realize he's a slapper and hit with an open hand a lot, hence a lot of those photos, that isn't the same as pulling your hand outta the glove

When people are doing their 'research' on all the funny looking gloves photos, surely if they're educated boxing fans they should be aware of slapping, heeling and throwaway jabs. They explain the 'floppy glove' nonsense perfectly for me. Also any idiot who's ever put on a pair of boxing gloves knows that you can't get the fist part of the glove to flap up exposing a fist in the lace part of a glove. It doesn't work like that. Most of the people that are buying that crap have never put on a boxing glove in their life.

As for the first three pictures, just look up 'framing' and 'measuring' and admit they know fornicate all about boxing. Fury's using stuff that most boxers never use, and most boxing trainers have forgotten.

Wilder's just another paranoid salty loser like his mate and acolyte Steve Cunningham. I don't know why this is getting any oxygen.

The funny part is them saying that other people aren't willing to discuss it rationally and logically

Sure, guys like Steve 'flat earth, inferior white man, black hebrew israelite, humans are trees' cunningham have a monopoly on all the logic I guess :OhYes:

Funny, wasnt one of the points he made in his video that with a glove on like that you can't make a fist? but there fury is above making fists!

No they don't, they don't change human anatomy.

I'll fire up photoshop later and do an x-ray of what it would like if his fingers are where they should be. It will make his wrist look as long as his forearm.

So in your first post why didn't you just say "I think Fury cheated" and use your brilliant photoshop skills to post a medical x-ray that you drew yourself?

i love it how a finely tuned professional heavyweight boxer cries cheating and cites all this crap, but has nothing to say about all the fat, inept opponents who came in at short notice that he built his record on. nothing exclusive to deontay by any means, but inherent in the sport of boxing is one-sided match making to build records. mr lovejoy has built a 19-0 record, facing guys who shouldn't have been in the same ring as him, in the "sporting" sense of the word. cry me a river deontay, you just got beat by the better man

No you can't , that's the creased palm of his hand

Again, how does he make a clenched fist, as the video clearly shows, if his hand is way down in the glove? Why didn't the commission, Wilder, Wilder's team, or commentators catch this at all, 2 times? Why not caught in any of the inspections or in the ring? How and when did Fury do it, and why the f@ck would he want to fight with his hand in such an awkward uncomfortable position?

Why was none of this noted at all during the fights? Why did none of this come out till a year later, when Wilder lost?

If you're talking about the first image on the thread, he's not landing with his knuckles in that picture. His hand is open, it was probably a flicked jab.

The right hand in the pic below shows where the knuckle area is and the left hand shows what it looks like when the hand is unclenched

It's the palm of his hand. Explain to me any martial art where you hit with the knuckles on your fingers, without any padding, and don't break them? It would be a stupid thing to do.

Have you ever trained seriously any martial art in your life? Do you think that's a good way to punch?

I just watched this video and am struggling to understand what possible advantage there would be, for tyson fury climbing into the ring with deontay wilder for their rematch, for fury to somehow not have his fist in the glove :brick: you train to get yourself into peak shape, you work out tactics, you even (in this case) change trainers, you spar, spar and spar, you get the weight right, and you have the mental side of the preparation too......... and then somehow decide that on fight night, you are going to not have your fist inside the glove that you can hit your opponent with. It doesn't make sense. It's a fight, with rules, and your gloves are checked independently beforehand. You just wouldn't do this...

I don't think the visible part of the hand that we see there is his fingers, it looks like the palm of his hand to me. You get folds and creases in your palm and I think that is what it is.

Turning this thing on its head, imagine boxing was done with fighters having to have their fingers kept straight inside the first half of the glove. You could then imagine the uproar if a fighter was caught sliding his fist in further (pardon the pun) and clenching it, that would be cheating. But to do it the other way round, where is the advantage ? If I was fighting somebody, I would rather they did what Tyson is alleged to have done, than have a clenched fist inside the glove. I'd be like "yes please" mate, that'll do nicely.
