I do think Calzaghe with healthy hands is one of the ones to beat. Giving someone like Ali more power's fine on paper, but that's probably intrinsic to why he was so gifted.
Same as how Tyson could've had a longer reign with a different attitude, but might've lost some of the ferocity that made him awesome in the '80s.

Honestly, I think Calzaghe with healthy hands (and more ambition in his matchmaking) would have been PFP all-time top 10. Absolutely every natural gift going. (Except the hands, obviously)

Errol Christie... if he was blessed with better whiskers he could have been world champ as he had all the skills to pay the bills.

It's a one of the most important qualities.
You don't have to dig deep. Look at Ali. The Doug Jones bout could have been far more controversial, if not Ali's chin. Henry Cooper caught Ali very hard, if not the chin, Ali wouldn't stand up. Even Cleveland Williams was able to land a troublesome punch and Ali's performance wasn't smothered by it because of his chin. And look how many punishment Ali took in the Fight of the Century. He had a remarkable chin, he wouldn't be that great without it.
Marciano wasn't a defensive wizard and without his chin he wouldn't be a champ at all.
If not Vitali's chin, he wouldn't even finish that 6th round against Lewis and would end up like his brother against Sanders.

Yeah, I think we'd rate him more highly with a couple of losses, crazy as that sounds. If he'd really pushed himself to go to the US and fought their best, he'd have been embarrassed by no-one except maybe Jones. But 40yo McCallum went 12 against Jones, so I can easily imagine the prime Calzaghe managing it (despite the pace he'd have fought at).
Maybe he planned to step it up after Reid but then his hands started giving him trouble. That's the first time I remember him having a problem?

Not sure. I used to think that but I'm not sure he was as good as I thought he was. The Bowe fights may have flattered to deceive. Riddick was more shot than we thought. Andrezj's fight with Corey Sanders was a great scrap but probably showed his true level.

More durability for Vitali. Both skin and body. He had all the other stuff. I think he would have been one of the all time greats.
Pair of balls for Floyd so that he would have fought the best opponents out there. Waste of talent. I currently rank him below Pac for example. It is all about who you beat and how close to peak they were...
Bit more dicipline for Andy Ruiz. With better training and diet he could be a title holder in this era.
Bit more pop for Usyk. He has everything else.
Bit of boxing skill for Wilder. He has speed, power, stamina and chin. Skills is the problem.
