Galahad is a boring fighter to watch. Shame as he's good, trains hard, etc but realistically he, like a lot of Wincobank fighters, is a who needs him type.

Graham, Hamed, Rhodes and (briefly) Pele Reid are the only Wincobank fighters who have been worth buying a ticket for.

I saw him live a fair bit. I was largely indifferent but he clearly had talent. Probably largely hamstrung by his first promoter but he did the best with what he had.

If he has only seen 2 Kell Brook fights, I doubt he saw Thaxton knockout "Scrap Iron" Ryan or Junior's brutal knockout of Vivian Harris.

On the contrary. I am a 70s, 80s, 90s and to some extent 00s boxing participant/fan. In the last decade or so I have only really watched the big fights. I only post on here out of nostalgia and because I've known some people on here for nearly twenty years and some offline for thirty odd.

Why would he? His fans want an exciting fight, I hardly think Sky would approve it and he’s got more than enough money to stay on Twitter as long as he wants.

It’s surprising that Witter didn’t draw more fans. I know he had a stinker against Judah but he followed it with 15 KOs winning the British, Commonwealth and European titles with all finishing inside the first half of the fight.

A lot of the fights were on terrestrial but yet when he fights Vivian Harris who was a good fighter back then it’s at the Doncaster Dome Leisure Centre.

If he had a Hearn or FW fully behind him then I think he could have been far more popular.

You’re right - he had ITV but it takes far more than a terrestrial channel to promote a fighter.
