One of BS's reporters pushing their luck a bit with the below one.
'German heavyweight Erik Pfeifer (7-0) was all set to take on Daniel Dubois in August of 2019 when Queensberry Promotions, suddenly during fight week, switched from Pfeifer to Dutchman Ricardo Snijders (18-1). The official reason was an issue with the paperwork but in reality Queensberry probably discovered what a good amateur the 34-year old Pfeifer was.
Erik represented Germany in the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and won a bronze medal in two World championships.'
