Like I posted, I think this is a pivitol fight for him. If he shows us no improvements, it's probably time to write him off as a potential serious contender.
Regarding Hrg, I agree 100%. Never impressed me. Was better earlier on.

Yes, according to boxing Blockcenter and they were negotiating fight with Washington.
Brian Howard fight is crap. If Ajagba needs to fight him, he better retire from boxing right altogether for good.

Efe Ajagba is facing a small cruiserweight (borderline 175lb-er) that’s only won twice, whilst also suffering three KO losses, within the last 3½ years.
I’ll be surprised if Ajagba-Howard is even sanctioned by the local commission!
It’s a shame to see two fighters, like Jared Anderson and Efe Ajagba, appearing on the same card engaging in horrendous mismatches instead of facing each other.

Good to see Jared in the ring again. I love watching this kid fight.
Not sure what Efe's camp is thinking with this matchup, unless they've completely revamped his fighting style and he needs to work it out in the ring. Guess we'll see.

yeah, I really don't understand the matchup, unless he turns around and fights again in six weeks or something. He's only been out of the ring around 5 months I think.

Efe should be fighting at least someone like Sergey Kuzmin. Washington would've been a good one , though he's a pbc boi.
Takam has been on Top Rank shows too, even loser to Takam - Jerry Forrest, would be better than what Efe's been up to lately and has a credible recent result as a prospect tester

I just don't see the benefit of this matchup either. I'm just stoked to see Anderson again.

That's true ,,,, but if he takes this fight, that tells public Efe is far away from being taken seriously as heavyweight contender.
With Ronnie shilds team, he was expecting him to be ready by end of 2021 or early 2022 for title fight. Let's say covid 19 has set him back for ONE YEAR, still the way he is promoted, i don't think we see him ready by end 2022 or early 2023

I think you are very confused ... There is not something wrong with Ajagba. There is something wrong with new promotion team.
I think Ajagba can beat 70% of fighters in Top 20 today. The new team just killing his potential. Even Ajagba Losing a fight to ranked fighter is better, but He don't need this kind of fight at all. It brings down his confidence level only .
