blackledge is like 45 in ring years despite only being 30, looks about 50 too...

he was once a very solid fighter but is now too much of a punch bag, maybe should pack it in since he doesnt seem able to pull off the hardly get hit but lose every round journeyman routine

Ham struggling to match Bateson's workrate, pace & skills. Bateson also showing superb fitness.

Despite landing the odd full blooded punch, Ham can't pin Bateson down.

Dan Azeez v Ricky Summers, English title fight.

Off to a good start with a lively first round.

2nd round warmed up nicely

Azeez put it on Summers at the start of the round with hard shots, but Summers looks a grizzled old pro, with solid punches and is cagey.

This a really good scrap

Bruising 3rd round. Summers looking authoritative, but Azez thumping in some hard rights to the body.

Already fight of the night by the end of the 4th

I'm seeing a different fight to Steadman & Lockett...they seem to be veering Summers way, but I thought Azeez landed the harder, cleaner punches in the 5th.

Yep, definitely seeing things differently...I gave the 6th to Azeez too.

They've barely mentioned Azeez's body shots.

Congratulations to both boxers

An impassioned plea from Azeez in the post fight interview to be put in the mix with the top British light heavies.

That was his 2nd successful English title defence and he's done things the right way, so he deserves his chance.

Fearon trying his best not to be a dick....but it's too much of an ask to pull off !

Azeez vs Arthur for the British would be great ( I assume Spider has vacated to fight Bivol )

It's a good match-up, but Arthur's a snooze to watch. Azeez brings the entertainment IMO.
