Tim doesn’t flinch, keep slotting home the punches battering his man, the towel flies in and he gets the win. TKO round 5. Brilliant left uppercut dropped him earlier in the round

Great performance, the kid looks world-class no doubt about it. Jeff Fenech agrees, so does his beaming dad Kostya

Solid performance from Tim. Bullied Hogan and walked him down effectively, his left hand in particular was good both to the body and head, belting uppercut for the knockdown and the early finish was inevitable after that.

Tszyu crushed Hogan. Great work to the body from Tszyu. He's ready for the title shot. They gotta make it.

I didn't see much of a jab. A lot of missed wild shots. Yeah he was up against a guy whose power he didn't really have to worry about but you still like to see a functional process in a fighter. What is Tszyu going to do against Charlo? Come forward like that and throw body shots

Yes but surely they’re not putting him in with a beast like Charlo, that would be a very bad career move. Throwing your golden goose in with a wolf.
They will get him a world title shot another way, with the big bucks a whole country behind him brings.

He's #1 with the WBO isn't he (for what that's worth) so they may go down the Castano route, but that itself is a very tough assignment, albeit not as tough as Charlo.

Tszyu's knockdown of Hogan looked near idenitial to the one Povetkin iced Whyte with, slipped the jab and boom

Did Hogan end up wearing the shorts the promoter said he wasn't allowed to?

How do you reckon Tszyu would go on against Williams or Rosario?

Be a good measuring stick fight for the Charlo one.

Such a shame Tim didn’t get that work title fight when the Brazilian guy was stuck for covid. I think he would of won that then would of been in position for undisputed vs charlo. May have been to soon but massive fight. And honestly, I think he would have a solid chance at it. But now getting one title fight , let along a shot at 4 is a tough path.

Where dkoes Hogan live , fight out off,, i,ve not really followed his carreer , but i noticed his trainer who threw the towel in was a former assistant trainer of Jeff Horn ,, made me wonder if Hogan does,nt live in Aust , i would suspect Any boxer who comes without a trainer is coming for a payday not excpecting too win ,, Real deal come to win fighters DO NOT come without there team especielly there trainer, unless off course he lives in Aust . IF HE Lives in Ire
Land and ccame on his own i would,nt put too much stock on this win

I rate Tim. Looks a future World champion.

I hope they don’t rush him. Talk of a Castano fight. I don’t like that fight this early. Castano is seriously under-rated and outworks Tim at this stage of his career.

id think youd stand to make a lot more money with tim ,the guy with the far bigger name who is progressing very nicely. not so true of danny, he's 6-1, coming off a 1 -sided loss, and not the dude fighting sell outs and ppvs.

so you think danny still beats tim? tbh sounded like you were looking for excuses to discredit tims hogan win

Not at all , i like to see ANY boxer do well , Tim had a head start on Lewis with the name , juzt like Connor Benn , if he can use it to do well good on him ,, But Daniel Lewis for me is better , his loss in Vegas was in a good fight with a tough guy ,, something in hindsight ,they probably wished they had not took , but what could they do after all Tim and others would,nt have a bar of him ,, Tim will make a lot of money his dad is a legend in Oz ,, he,s consodered Australian and Aussies love a winner,, Alls they have to do is keep him winning , and he will sell plenty of Ppv ,, after all this is a country rhat will shell out 50 bucks on ppv to watch 2 footballers have a go ,, ut i still think Lewis is the better fighter , just not got the promotional team and the dollars along with the name behind him. I Wish Tim well , but i, personaly am not gonna get over excited because he beat someone at the end of there carreer easier than someone else ,,, xseen it time and time again in Aust , guys getting rankings and then belted when they go international .. No one ever calls out relatively unknown 4-0 or 6-1 fighters . Dosent mean they are scared. Although I do agree he is a solid tallent Tim is miles ahead and has no reason to call him out.

Hopefuly he can find the fights he needs to get big opportunity’s in the future but it’s a hard crawl back from 6-1, if I were him I’d be trying to get in every shitty show or undercard in Australia and knock some binmen out for 100 bucks to quickly bury that loss and be 12-1 by September , Then set up a real fight for December or next year.

tims moved well beyond lewis now, gaining much better experience, beating much better opposition than danny has, and is getting far far more popular. improving all the time while danny sits on a 6-1 record and hasnt won for 2 years

someone would have to be nuts or just a terrible businessman to put their money into lewis rather than tim.

and why would tim go near lewis? lewis is a virtually unknown 6-1 fighter whose only result in the last 2 years is a wide loss. its a step back for tim. hogan was a guy whod fought at world level and shouldve won the wbo vs munguia, tim destroyed him.

Thats Boxing , unfortunatly Lewis has that loss which gives others a ready made excuse not so sure Tim has fought better oponents his resume is,nt that great , Tim had the name , and the financial backing ,, but remember When they started off Tim or rather Tims management would,nt have a bar of Lewiss they refused to go any where near him , and Lewis DID ask for the fight on more than one occasion ,
LEWIS really did stuff up going to Vegas for a tough fight at a early stage in his carreer , a fight which even now i think would be a step too hard for Tim, yep i think that mexican beats Tim has well , but thats boxing Lewiss was too tough and too good hence why he could,nt get the fights no one including Tim Tzu would go near him , i would bet even now offer it the Tzyu camp and they will have kittens with the same old same old excuse , he,s not on our level ,know doubt about it Tims done well but on an Aussie level , and Lewiss just cannot get Aussie level guys to box him , Name one Aussie boxer who will fight Lewiss.. Tim will progress higher of that i,ve no doubt , but its not down to being head and shoulders above lewiss ,, its down to the name and the money behind him, Lewiss pput his balls on the line against a tough mexican after 5 fights 5 wins because he had no where else to go , he gambled and he lost Tim has been managed very well is ppv now and really no fought outside of Aussie level , hope he makes a lot of money which ge probably will

Not fighting a guy that is 6-1 and lost to a 22 year old prospect (who is a nightmare to be fair) is not ducking, you don’t need an excuse, your just beyond that.

I don’t know where you draw the line for Aussie levle, but hogan arguably should of won a 154 world title, and put up a fight against a 160lb world champ. Horn has beat pac for a world title, and gone 9 with Crawford. And your acting like they are lowly aus levle guys but a 22 year old American prospect who had realistically lost the fight before Lewis is proven world levle guy (he might of lost to Lewis too to be fair).

He is improving and I think going places, but at the time Lewis lost to him he wasn’t great, just freakishly talk.

Yep, Horn was a world champ and Hogan should've been. Hogan was a proven tough nut at 154 too and Tim took him apart.

But somehow losing 8 rounds out of 10 to Fundora (coming off a draw with clark) is superior to that.....nah bruh, nah

Can see where people are coming from with Tim , Horn was a world champ peolle have mixed reservzsions about his win over paccy , but win he did , so good on him ,, Tim beat Horn , but lets have it right Horn is shot to peices a d hsas been for a while , Tim did,nt go anywhere near the Horn that fought paccy ,, Hogan , well he,s at the tail end of his carreer , wherass Lewiss after 5 fights fought a good up and comet nott a shot or old fighter ,, ,,,, Not taking anything away from Tim but i just don,t believe he,s better than Lewis ,, but we will never know ,,, after all why would Tzyu risk a fight with Lewis now he can truly say its going backwards,,,, but one thing for sure is this Tim Tzyu was not fighting up and coming young mexicans on his 6th fight , and i still say , a 5,,1 record Lewis beats Teim Tzyu , like i said before theres a reason Tzyu and his camp constantly ignoref Lewis when he called them out , and its simply Lewis has een and probably still is too dangerous to risk it

Get where your coming from but a slightly past prime world champ and a slightly past prime should be world champ is a lot better than a wayyyy befor prime kid.

But I get where you are combo from. If he as good as he says he will make it, I just don’t think he is. If he is better than Tim then he should clear out low levle, breeze though kid levle, take out high levle and be on word levle in no time. My guess is he might get to commonwealth levle but will never touch world.
