ya it's a good point. fedosov was actually at the high point of his career before his inactivity. he still obviously has something and now hopefully with the support of hearn can make a final runLas Vegas boxing guy wrote: ↑19 Apr 2021, 09:03 Majidov (because of his age) was in a pro career rush. That's understandable. However, his management was very unwise to put him in the ring with Fedosov who had a 7-0 winning (with 6 KO's) streak coming in. It's not like Fedosov was on a downtrend in his career. I was kind of flabbergasted when I heard the betting odds.

Re: fedosov ko 1 majidov
There was nothing wrong with making this matchup. Majidov was on the Kubrat Pulev plan, after long amateur career go for quick catch-up to get on track to a pro title shot. He needed to take fights like Fedosov, and if he can't beat them, he's not on the fast track he needed to be on. Fedosov beat like 6 guys of note in his entire career, come on.
Re: fedosov ko 1 majidov
Nothing wrong at with it at all. At his age if Majidov was going to achieve anything in the pros he would need to be moved fast, and that means quality opposition, and that means taking risks. I imagine he would have expected Fedosov to be a very low hurdle on his way to much tougher examinations.
