Out of interest, what are your thoughts about Crawford extending his contract with Top Rank in 2018?
Errol Spence Jr. had nothing to do with Bud’s decision, so why mention his name?
Do you honestly believe that Bud decided to extend his contract with Top Rank, with the assumption that it would actually improve his chances of facing the PBC guys that resided in the other side of the proverbial street?
What do you thoughts about Canelo signing with GBP?
Mike Tyson with Don King?
Roy Jones jr with Murad Muhammed?
Lennox Lewis with Main Events?
This is nonsense.
Fact of the matter is that little Spence didn't want to fight big bad Terrence, didn't want to create a legacy for himself etc. Okay he would have lost but so what? Atleast he would have gotten the fight done. At 31 he hasn’t fought anyone, the first loss is lingering somewhere around the corner and the fellow will go down in history as pretty much irrelevant. Beating an ancient former Flyweight champion isn't going to change that.
That’s the second time you’ve dishonestly employed red herring debating tactics.
You’re intentionally doing your upmost to avoid answering a rather simple question.
The nature of your response clearly illustrates your dislike of Crawford's decision-making in 2018.
Anyway, neither Crawford nor Spence Jr. will be facing Manny Pacquiao anytime soon.
If you cant see the answer between the lines then you must be completely blind. Who a fighter signs with is his own business and doesnt mean that other fighters should duck him.
Or I guess that BHOP and DMIC should have signed with Murad right?

So you're suggesting network and promotional rivalries are irrelevant?
You seriously feel these issues don't affect the sport of boxing?

Affect yes but they are not the deciding factor. BHOP didn't believe (and he was right) he could beat RJjr so he didn't really want the fight.
RJjr didn't want to fight dangerous DMIC for peanuts and DMIC also loved his risk free German money so he didn’t really want the fight either.
Errol Spence wanted no part of Terrence Crawford, hiding behind his network and promoter was a good place to hide except he'll leave the sport a good riddance to bad rubbish with not much of a legacy.

August 21..
Pac and now Spence seem to have confirmed it.
PBC Fox PPV
"Done deal, I'll see y'all in Vegas for the biggest fight of the year," Spence stated Friday on his verified Instagram account.

I’d rather manny vs mikey just cause I think it’s closer. Vs Spence Manny is so much smaller, inactive and a decade past prime... if he makes this competitive it’s amazing.

Tough fight for Pacquiao. He’s a massive underdog.
What’s Crawford up to nowadays?

If Manny wins this, it will just elevate the greatness of Mayweather.

Of course. Still, i have Manny ahead of Floyd on my ATG list
Edit: Spence would be decent challenge even for 2008-2010 prime beasting Pacquiao. I cannot believe he is doing this at age of 42.

The announcement clearly won't be that "big", though I hope I'm proven wrong:
"Top Rank not interested in making Crawford-Porter"
Anyway, Bob will have to get his skates on, because Crawford’s contract with Top Rank expires early October.

No doubt, Manny fans are so desperate. If he was over the hill when Floyd schooled him than these results don't matter. Shutting out canelo looks pretty good these days.

Spence is a good champion but Pacquiao is in a different class. Exciting, thrilling, fast and action packed were always words associated with Manny.
Even at 42 he should be able to spar lightly with Errol for 12 rounds and collect a decent paycheck as Duran did with Hagler once upon a time.
He won't win of course, and any rash attempts at trying too hard could seriously backfire.
But Manny will be all too aware of this. This will not be Hearns v Duran.

Most here, not me, were picking Thurman two years ago! One thing about Manny, with the exception of the Floyd fight, is he always goes for it. That could get him stopped, but no, not hearns/Duran. More Hopkins/dlh.

Pacquiao's victory over Thurman was indeed a remarkable achievement, and I don't think anyone would pretend otherwise.
But to be fair, everyone knew that that ‘One Time’ was out-of-form (heavily criticised immediately beforehand for his lacklustre performance against Josesito Lopez), hadn’t looked impressive for three years, was inactive, injury prone and also wasn't considered as the best fighter in his own weight class.
This isn't hindisght speaking either, because I can quote my words (verbatim) expressing such criticism of Thurman during the build-up to the Pacquiao fight.
So whilst I still favoured Thurman to beat Pacquiao, I thoroughly expected the bout to be very competitive.
That said, Errol Spence Jr. is a completely different proposition and a much better fighter than Thurman was in 2019, coupled with the fact that Pacquiao is two years older and has also been inactive for a long time.
Simply put, Pacquiao has a much bigger mountain to climb this coming August, in comparison to the moderately challenging hill he climbed two years prior (and I'm not intentionally undermining Manny's fantastic feat either, just trying to convey the actual severity of the task at hand).

I thought Thurman was foolish for not pressing random testing, and saying Manny can take whatever TF he wants. All of a sudden we saw the Manny of old. Juiced up Manny has a chance, but slim regardless.

Lots of bio-identical hormones and non random drug tests allows substances to clear his system well in time for any test. Pretty much the regiment of most top line boxers.

I do not think Pac can replicate some of his performances against taller guys, chopping them bit by bit, at this stage... not that Spence would have been easy even in Pac's prime.
Whoever wins this, obtains a hell of leverage for future unification match-ups.
