Michael Watson. Brave effort against McCallum then 2 wars against Eubank where he quite nearly fought to the death.
Seeing him come out for the start of the 12th round in that 2nd fight is still difficult for me to watch now.

Cockell showed a lot of heart coming out after the beating he took in round 8. Kept getting up in the 9th until the end.

Too right. It sprang to mind when I read the thread title.
Murray was brave even taking that fight. GGG was in absolute peak beast mode.
And crikey it was hard to watch after about the 5th

Froch was always one of the toughest, grittiest bastards for me. Whilst he never received an injury like last night, some of the huge shots he had to absorb at times was rough to watch.

Jim McDonnell was brave against Azumah Nelson. He got a severe beating towards the end, Azumah was a monster back then but McDonnell went out on his shield.

He won the first fight vs Canizales for me (for what it's worth...).

Some great shouts on here. Funnily enough, Andries' shellacking kick started a new career for him from which
he never looked back.
Agree about McGuigan, he was running on fumes, though I think bennie has a different take.

You have to hand it to Calzaghe against Mitchell. He got clocked, dropped and dazed, but came roaring back.
