It's not really about an "amount of fights" it's about who you've beaten. How you've looked in beating credible contenders. In some cases your success as an Amateur can lead to quick success in the Pro ranks, but your success as an Amateur generally has to be really, really spectacular. Like Gold Medal in the Olympics spectacular or multiple hundreds of wins spectacular.
