For this fight i would always use the narrative , A good big en ,,, will always beat a good little en . But we do know shit happens

Assuming the Saudis aren’t wanting to put an offer for AJ/Usyk then Wembley might be an option as even if it’s half full it will then that’s still decent money. Obviously that’s assuming no-ones offering a decent rights fee.

He could have finished Chisora off later on, if he wanted to, but he decided not to take a risk. That fight was one-sided as hell and misinterpreted by the biased Matchroom analysis and corrupted close scores.

Luis Ortiz: Usyk is Too Small, Anthony Joshua Should Fight Me!

Luis Ortiz (32-2) is hoping to get a big fight in the near future.

The former world title challenger was last in the ring in November when he blew out an overmatched Alexander Flores in 1 round in a Premier Boxing Champions on Fox telecast.

Ortiz has been calling out all of the big names in the heavyweight division but has had difficulty getting any of the top fighters to face him. Even at 42-years-old, the Cuban has proven to be a difficult opponent.

“I have been trying to get in the ring with Dillian Whyte but he refused to fight me so I went to the (Andy) Ruiz versus (Chris) Arreola fight and again I got a no, because Ruiz said he would need another tune-up,” Ortiz told Boxing Scene.

An arbitrator recently ruled that WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury must honor a rematch clause and fight Deontay Wilder next which has indefinitely postponed the Fury versus Anthony Joshua unification bout which was slated for August.

With Fury tied up at least until the fall, Joshua is looking to fight his WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk next. Ortiz doesn’t believe the former unified cruiserweight champion has the size to be competitive with Joshua.

“So now that Joshua versus Fury can’t be done, I feel that me and Joshua would be an explosive fight so Eddie (Hearn), Joshua, Jay (Jimenez), Luis DeCubas Jr, (Al) Haymon - I’m here and I’m ready. Let’s try and make this happen. Why wait? You already have the date. Don’t fight Usyk, he’s too small for you. He is a cruiserweight. Give me a shot. You don’t even have to put your belts on the line,” Ortiz stated.

josh hadnt beaten ruiz before, fury-wilder 2 is comparable to that and was the natural fight, but the 3rd doesnt really seem necessary other than for legalities

Have a terrible feeling AJ is going to duck usyk. Eddie should be hyping that fight now, instead he is talking about other options.
He seemed to be keen on Ruiz 3, and then mildly interested in Ortiz or whyte. These are 3 acceptable fights when nothing is happening, but dropping a belt vs a worthy contender.
He also kinda mentioned Mabey just waiting and fighting fury late in the year, bit rich to come out and say fury’s team never wanted it they just ducked us around, and then put all your eggs in that basket again...
Right now avoiding usyk andgiving up the chance of undisputed down the line is a duck so let’s hope AJ and Eddie arnt too scared and it’s just a negotiating tactic.
